Yo dabs you should keep that anger concealed and just be like that dad that never yells but is scary as hell and the kids and any friends that come over don’t misbehave

    Angelo Maximus

    Great Game GIANTS
    Week 10 in the books
    On to week 11
We the Fans are Very proud
    Go GIANTS

Kushaal Vennamaneni

i’ll admit inwas hard on slayton but he has had a crazy redemption arc love what hes doing keep it
up

Coop Thorley

Was very off the slayton train at the start of the year but the chemistry he and Jones has is great hope he keeps it up

    Pete Carlson

Me too. Way too many dropped opportunities the last 2 years but he appears to be in synch now. He’s always had the speed to be a big threat but now he is making those timely catches. Also his yards after catch makes a big difference.

    zig

Not me. Being completely honest, i never liked the idea of letting Slayton go for alittle cap space, with the question marks that surrounded Toney and Golladay coming into the season, after lackluster 2021 seasons by both, and Shepard coming back off the ACL tear , and wandale of course being only a rookie. Slayton has shown enough in his 3yrs, to atleast be worthy of keeping around considering the many question marks the giants had with most of the other recieving core.

    scott tam

I wasn’t I felt he should of Ben playing from the start imo he the only wr we got with speed

NoCAP YouLACKN

our coach is perfect with the media never too high never too low, then goes and turns up with the players and fans love that about him. Kenny G. is toast 2 drops on two target that hit him right in the hands.. give half his 44 mill to the kid they brought in in his place been here 3 days had a good game, he was blocking down field too.

    dominick virgilio

I feel bad for Kenny G hope he gets another chance!

    Lukas Sippl

@dominick virgilio feel bad? Screw him. He has had enough chances.
Ofc I want him to do well cause the teams needs him but he has shown that he isn’t able to contribute

    dominick virgilio

@Lukas Sippl i think he’s pressing hope he gets back out there against the Lions!

Chris Campana

I love Slayton. Takes pay cut and my guy shows up again. I like Cager and the new guy played great. Never the same receivers each week.

    mitchell baker

@United States Also, as Mark Sanchez said when asked about Daniel Jones, “He throws into the smallest windows in the league”, which is perfectly said, These receivers do not get open. I live in Fla and watch Tua throw to 2 All Pros every week. Slayton, the best option DJ has, would be rated average by league standards. I’d love to see Daniel throwing to guys like Tyreek Hill or Justin Jefferson. Then we’d know a little more.

    Killa Kev

    isaiah hodgins a dawg 😈

    Navin Reddi

What @United States said! Both comments I agree with.

Saquan scared the linebackers and drew them. Let’s see if Slayton can get his own separation to be a keeper.

Can DJ throw to any receiver? Can he lead them open? I love the job DJ is doing for us so far but I still have questions.

    Kenji Mapes

I’ve always been a big Darius Slayton fan. Slayton excelled in his rookie year when he actually had a decent offense to work in. Since then he has been mired like most of the team in a bad offensive scheme & bad coaching. Despite moving up & down the depth chart & not always consistent playing time, Slayton has always shown up & never complained. After we drafted Toney the talk was that Shepard &/or Slayton were expendable. What a godawful assumption & speculation. Toney for all his talent & charismatic smile just basically put himself in the doghouse in his bizarre Giants tenure. He had a clean slate with a new GM & Head Coach & from the start there was excitement here & we have been winning. For reasons unknown, Toney was disgruntled & got shipped off. Good riddance. Now back to Slayton who took a paycut to stay here – at the start of the year Slayton was arguably behind Golloday, Shepard, Toney & possibly Wan’Dale on the depth chart as our #4 or 5 receiver. Shepard got hurt which still stings. Golloday has yet to get going & is hurt. Toney got shipped off. Robinson got off to a slow start after his injury. Now for all their determination & grittiness, guys like Sills & James aren’t anything more than 4th or 5th receivers. Now Slayton isn’t a bonafide #1 receiver but he can be a nice #3 & is the perfect compliment to a healthy a productive unit of Golloday, Shepard & Robinson. Golloday is that big high point target & Shepard is the perfect possession & chain moving slot receiver with Robinson acting as a Swiss Army knife weapon. Slayton compliments all of these guys as he has decent size & great speed. He helps the entire offense & run game as he is a “take the top off the defense” receiver with his 4.3 speed. To think that Slayton was pushed down the depth chart & a candidate to be traded which many fans wanted. The only gripe against Slayton was too many drops which he has really fixed this year. And To think of where our passing game would be without him now just shows how underutilized, under appreciated & important he is to the offense & team. I really hope Shepard can stay a Giant because I would like Jones to have his favorite target back. I think a healthy Shepard & Golloday along with a more experienced Wan’Dale & rejuvenated Darius Slayton who are finally together on the field & better versed in the scheme could make the passing offense much more dynamic & explosive. Slayton is vital to the passing game & offense now & he he should continue to be. He has stepped it up when we needed him too & he’s always been a great teammate & solid citizen who never gripes or complains which is admirable considering the track record of many a receiver. He deserves to stay a Giant & a raise. He has built better chemistry with Jones & hasn’t had the dropsies like in years past. While Kadarius Toney might be a shiftier & more explosive athlete than Slayton I’ll take a happy, selfless & productive football player like Slayton over Toney 100% of the time. Keep Slayton & Shepard New York Giants!

    Sheng Wu

@United States Right; why risk it when you can play smart and just play out the clock? SMART COACHING!

Atticus Magnus

Has Danny been taking post game interview lessons from Eli? If you close your eyes you can’t tell if it’s #8 or #10 at the podium. Great game Giants!

    mitchell baker

If he has, that shows his intelligence. No athlete in NY history handled the press better than Eli. A few like Jeter were as good, but no one was better.

    Beholden2

Eli is a mentor to DJ. They both had the same college coach in Cutliffe. DJ attended the Mannings QB camp. Eli still mentors him on the telephone.

    Mark Stento

I was saying the exact same thing! And I keep thinking I’m seeing Eli!!!

Daniel Nigra

Daniel, My quarterback. You do nothing different. That ball in front of KG hit him in both his hands. No excuses

YaBoi Ricky

DJ spends every press conference praising everyone else 😂 The O-line, the D, Saquon, Slayton. He had an almost perfect game and still gives everyone else credit and never throws anyone under the bus…reminds me of that #10 guy 😉

    Ian

@VM I EVERY QB needs that.

    scott tam

That’s what team leaders do. Only selfish guys are look at me I want stats ex . Dj a true team leader

    Will Gwaupo

@VM I not a great argument look at other people like Russ way better situation wr core Danny has that dog in him first 2 seasons he was better then josh Allen completion wise he’s just now getting a winning Coach

    lone wolf

I guess that’s his way of keeping his self level headed

    bt curry

    A leader of men…

Vince G.

Isiah should be getting targets every week. He did a great job.

Daniel Nigra

Kayvons props to Wink! You feel in the way they talk the greatness in this team. I do

Michael Stevens

Every single week dabs gives the media a facetious question about Danny and I love it every time!!!

Marc Cioffi

How do you not love this coaching staff? They are everything I’ve wanted for the Giants and it finally feels good to be a Giants fan again

    Sheng Wu

Yeah, last couple of seasons I knew felt off (from that Wacky GM and onwards) and so I turned it off.

    Justin Kapr

    Truth!

zig

Gettelman taking Saquon over guys like Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold got alot of blowback from quite a few giants fans, but has been just a great move by Getty in the end.
Also passing on Haskins(RIP) to take Jones at 6, looks better and better also. And honestly even passing on Josh Allen the pass rusher to take Jones looks like a heck of a move so far.
Getty’s made some poor decisons, but also made quite a few good ones, and his fingerprints are still all over this current 7-2 team. Jones, A.Thomas, Bark, Julian Love, Nick Gates, Slayton, McKinney, Adoree Jackson, Graham Gano, Leonard Williams, Big Dex, and some core special teamers all brought in by Getty one way or another

    scott tam

@Beholden2 I’m not a gentlemen hatter but he some bad draft pick off top of my Baker and the Toney an the linemen we traded to Washington can’t remember his name there other but he wasn’t that bad the coach’s were the real problem imo but he picked them but we all got fooled by judge he talks a good game but that’s about it lol

    The Defenders OC

Dumbest post ive seen in the last 5 years,Giants are playing good but Saying picking Jones over DT Josh Allen is quite dumb and still looks like horrible move, Giants would have drafted Justin Herbert and wouldnt have been in the mess the last 3 years,i thought you Jones fanboys said Jones didnt have any recievers?so which is it?Jones fighting every week just to get 200 passing yards just doesnt cut it, Barkley been carrying this team all season or Giants are 1-8 FACT. oh thats right you wanted Barkley traded smh

    zig

@The Defenders OC WTF are you even rambling about?lol smh

    Richard Thomas

Kenny G might be the worst contract of all time

    Derik Close

everyone hated on Gettleman because they thought it was the players as to why we kept losing. He was great at picking players. He just sucked at picking a coach. well that and not taking Parsons and drafting Toney. that was dumb. but overall he left us with a good team. Now we got a good coach. Shoen was handed the perfect team to take from zero to hero.

Marc K.

Now it makes sense why coach Daboll was so heated during the first half… he didn’t want to disappoint his little daughter… Respect

John Glenson

Last time I believe this team won 7 games or more was all the way back in 2016 and Still have 8 games to go love this coaching staff

Willard Kaderli

These guys are completely bought in. I absolutely love it! It’s a perfect scenario for a coach, a bunch of hungry guys who haven’t been used to winning so they know how easy it is to lose as well. The play by play game by game mentality is a championship identity and very refreshing

Glyne Browne

I love the humbleness of this team, they really live what they say being there for each other and it even shows in the interviews. Really good game, our guys are playing hard every game even if we loose we can appreciate the fight and energy our team is putting out. Keep it steady big blue still a long way to go.

Robotacon

Dexter has become one of my favorite guys on this team. Love how humble he is even after all of these great performances

Beholden2

As much as Gettelmans signings have been awesome this season- I think Schoen’s signings have contributed greatly as well. Dane Bolton, our new receiver Isaiah, Cagen, etc.

201Gaming JC

I love that everyone is open to be subbed out if not playing well!! It’s actually what all teams should do to get the best of they players. Loving it!!
