Yeah I can’t stand that about commentators on ESPN and nfl network all of them are bandwagoners they’re high on teams when they’re winning and get low on them when they lose a couple games. The eagles weren’t undefeated when they won the superbowl in 2017

Anytime Washington wins, the media asks what’s wrong with the teams they beat.
@L Clark you didn’t watch the game. No way you putting full blame on the refs when you saw they clearly got outplayed from kickoff. Bad calls both ways but everyone only focus on those birds that got their wings clipped calls

I’d rather lose now and learn from it than lose in the playoffs and wait months to redeem ourselves. Its a humbling loss and hopefully they bounce back. That’s what good teams do.
@r bu he always gives the Eagles problems but the biggest problem was the running back Robinson Jr he was just shredding the Eagles run defense Ron Rivera out coached Nick and they ran the football
@r bu that dude is a journeyman and I have nothing but respect for the guy. The eagles have grit and I am still positive with the rest of the season.
I cannot believe Robinson was shot twice like a month plus ago, including in the knee, and is even playing. Insane.

Silly to think that even the best teams won’t have a bad game. Perhaps the Eagles were reading too much of their own press.Manning and Brady have ugly losses in their respective CV. The top teams bounce back, a loss often restores humility and focus. At the end of the day a perfect season is more of a fluke than anything else.
I couldn’t “spot the loss” on the Eagles’ schedule, but I did suspect it would be a divisional game. It’s starting to look like the NFC BEast is back.

The Eagles lose their first game and everyone thinks theirs a problem, but the Bills are on a 2 game losing streak and lost to a team we made look like a highschool team.
Washington has won 4 out of 5 with their only loss coming to an elite vikings team in which Washington dominated even more than Philly and were up by ten late in the 4th before collapsing. Washington is playing as well as anyone and people keep acting like they are garbage. Chase Young hasn’t even played all year. He will make his debut this week and Dotson will get back in his groove more and more every game. Washington will only get better

Vikings fan here, Eagles probably should have won that game but the Commanders are nothing to laugh at (as the vikings know). Strong defense, motivated and play with a purpose, that’s a dangerous combo

Washington has a very competitive football team. I have noticed them. They play it tough.
That is ron rivera. His players fight for him because he is a great leader even if he isnt the best xs and os guy. Im a panthers fan. If rivera has the right peices to work with he is great.
The Eagles weakness is the run defense which can’t stop good RB’s and if they don’t address it they will loose in the playoffs early. Jordan Davis is a huge loss and in the offseason they got high picks so they need to draft defensive of lineman. They should of got Roquan Smith instead of that old DE from the Bears who has done nothing since he got there. A.J Brown dropped that perfect pass from Hurts that could of change the Momentum when the Eagles was up 14-10.
jordan davis being out hurt. the errors on the eagles part too were absolutely terrible and had me losing my mind. first quez watkins fumbles a perfect pass that could set us up to take at least a field goal and then 3rd down BG55 comes barreling in and hits heinicke after he gave himself up. eagles will bounce back however, and i never had them going undefeated to begin with anyways. probably gonna end the season 14-3 or 15-2
As a Saints fan, our ’09 Saints also had to cheat their way to win the Superbowl sadly.
Unless a pattern is developed over a period of time there’s no cause for concern. What I would worry about for the Eagles is their run defense which is suspect
Jimmy Johnson said it. They play RPO and start fast. But when teams adjust then they come back and the eagles have a lot of issues. Look at all their games and they practically have been all the same. Jump ahead and survive the game. This time was an exception. I do expect them to make some changes thought.
They couldn’t stop the run, and they couldn’t really get past a concentrated defense. Washington played organized ball and pin those ears back to get Hurts off kilter and seize their run game to prevent the big play on the ground and force Hurts to beat them with his arm. Turnovers were forced, and with them the Commies held things down on offense and ran that line of scrimmage all night, which allowed some nice throws to keep drives going for a long time and exhausted them. Almost happened with the Texans but their offense took unnecessary risks and that lead to a turnaround for the Eagles. Eagles need to play full games, they have a cake walk schedule for the rest of the season outside of going to Dallas and Washington. Need to get it done
