    This is a Stefanski‘s fault Joe Woods is the problem when you have a defense who doesn’t play their entire game and only 45 players are doing their jobs then fire the rest of them fire Joe would hire a new coach or wait till next year and rebuild the defense because our office look good I don’t care what anybody says the last few games we’ve looked a lot better.     He was upset, but he isn’t type to yell and scream, the game is over his team got blown out. I think he would have been more upset if his team lossed a close game, but when your team gets blown out like that, then you know it simply wasn’t your day. The Browns were thoroughly beaten in every phase of the game, if you get beat like that at the line of scrimmage, all you can do is tip your cap to your opponent, because there wasn’t one play that could have changed the outcome. The Dolphins Offensive Line man handled the Browns front 7, it wasn’t even close. The Dolphins Defensive Line man handled the Browns Offensive line, and that too wasn’t even close.

It’s always “we all own this one, coaches included”. Yet they never do anything to get better. Coach has lost this team. Rinse and repeat new coaches next year.

The Browns lack an offensive identity and have a defensive scheme problem. For some reason we tried passing on first downs and tried running up the middle unsuccessfully over and over. The Dolphins simply stacked the box with their LBs to fill the gaps and we did nothing to adjust. Try pulling a guard and running outside the tackles or put Chubb and Hunt on the field at the same time and work the RPO and play action, even if it’s dink and dunk 5 yard check downs to Hunt. But instead we wasted the first half away without adjusting the running game. On defense we did nothing to plug up the gaps or hurry Tua. We continue to get beat in the zone and prevent coverage nonsense like we have all year. We have the speed to play man coverage, stop selling the talent short in favor of scheme! These are flat out a coaching issues. If Watson can actually play as well as he did and isn’t rusty, he can help this offense but he isn’t going to be some magic fix for winning games when the defense is a lost cause under a Joe Woods defense.

The problem is when you say on Monday you have to own it–you have been owning it–loss after loss–when do you man up and say it is unacceptable. I don’t think the Browns have the coaching and unfortunately here we go again. Sickening it just keeps going on and on. The franchise is a joke and all it does is repeat it self year after year. Leadership starts at the top. Look at the owner, head coach and defensive coordinator….Pathetic to hear these excuses every week. You can see the players don’t believe and aren’t motivated. Talent isn’t the problem! Leadership sucks at every level.

    Picket the NFL offices and force them to ref correctly and put an authentic product onto the field. The lack of holding calls against the Fins was borderline criminal…if it wasn’t just entertainment something could actually be done, but it is so it is what it is.

    Why do we keep saying wait for Watson? Watson is not going to fix this…. We had 2 weeks to game prep for the dolphins and we came out and looked HORRIBLE! That’s on coaching. Until we fix our coaching issues no player is going to help.

    @Mark Parrott The Dolphins are a better team than the Browns. The Dolphins beat the Bills too. The Browns are a 3-6 team right now and the Dolphins are a 7-3 team. I did not expect the Browns to win this game, but I thought they would be more competitive. I knew it would be a blowout if Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney couldn’t get to Tua. The Dolphins Offensive Line manhandled both Garrett and Clowney in the pass game, and manhandled Elliot, Bryan, Togiai, Jones and Takitaki in the run game. If the Browns played the Dolphins 10 times, the Dolphins would probably win 9 times. The Browns Offensive Line was dominated by the Dolphins Defensive Line. Other than a couple of plays, the Dolphins were hitting Nick Chubb at the line of scrimmage and knocking him back. A few times the Dolphins hit Chubb when he was still in the backfield. Joe Bitonio, Conklin, Pocic, and Wills were gettting their lunch handed to them.

Browns unwillingness to fire the DC reminds me of running Mayfield out every game last year when it was obvious Keenum could’ve done better.

I’ve been saying it for years. Smarts is only half the ingredients. You need some form of passion to lead men. Especially leading multi-millionaire athletes. Every press conference, every contrived locker room speech you hear it. The drone of a man who has no idea what it means to inspire. He’ll be a good coach if he can recognize that early in his career and work to fix it quickly. If not, he’ll make a good suit in a front office somewhere. He’ll definitely never coach again if he can’t figure it out. This platonic garbage coming out of him every post-game offers nothing in confidence or genuineness. The fans see that. The players physically show that out on the field. He needs to take a step forward now in his evolution.

In 2023 the Browns need to acquire 2 run stopping defensive tackles, and Linebackers who can shed blocks. I hope that they draft Ohio State Linebacker Tommy Eichenberg with their first pick. He is the run stopping Linebacker that the Browns need, and he is a Cleveland Native.

“Didn’t get the run game going the way we wanted to.” Well, when you come out the opening drive and pass all the way down the field and Chubb finishes with only 11 carries I would say that you didn’t even try
