Dear Mark Davis, as a 20 year old Youth Football Coach… and a man who has grown up around the sport of football I have a message I want you to read directly. I have supported the Raiders since I was born, and I will continue to support this team. But Mark… with all due respect… you have a man in DEREK Carr who is the perfect Face of the Franchise. He is an above average QB and the greatest leader of men I have ever seen. Deshaun Watson quit on the Texans, Kyler Murray Quits on the Cardinals… but my QB Derek Carr has never… through everything… quit on the Raiders! Mark id you Quit on Derek Carr over this “Patriots Way” Coaching Staff… then you are doing all of us in Raider Nation a Disservice! Al would not allow this to happen, he always sided with the players.
I have played football, I currently coach football, and I literally study the game on my channel… and finding a QB like Carr is very rare. I have worked with many young QB’s, and it’s rare to find one that is a great leader and a great player. We have one in Carr… so don’t ruin it.
If Mark decides to turn away from Carr… then we may have to turn away from Mark… plain and simple.
Raiders Nation this is a moment, some of us may never forget. Coach Gru would never have allowed this to happen. McDaniels has completely lost the locker room. RN4L

No. Indy made several inquiries for DC in the off-season, Reich was adamant about landing Carr and apparently made some very handsome offers. McDaniels is here because of DC.
