@Young LaFlame Well, for one thing…this isn’t the first effort….the NFL has been chasing this for a few decades now.
Three games…not surprising they sell out… a lot of ex pats over there…why the UK and Germany are favorite places.
Just saying…the NFL after a lot of time invested…has not been able to expand the market beyond the USA…much.
Hey…it’s a tough sell.
Soccer exists in the US…but it is dwarfed by the NFL…for the very same reason…in reverse.
It’s a slower game…intense moments no doubt…but 11 minutes of actual field play seems a bit of a time drag compared to Football (soccer) and Rugby…where the pace is almost non stop.
That’s all….I’m not saying anything radical here…and the NFL knows this…of course.
But I suspect the games at this miniscule level…makes coin and buzz…it’s worth doing.
It just never seems to give the NFL what they really desire…and the teams put on a brave face…all smiles…but they hate it.
@JM gonzales I like it too…though I only watch the highlight reels…the entire game is there in around 10 to 12 minutes.
Go Bucs! This the best I’ve seen the offense all year. Last weeks win was definitely the spark we needed.
