I know there will be a whole lot of people who will blame this loss on Marcus and to be clear, he looked bad but keeping it real, I did not see a good football from much of anyone last night. I went to bed at halftime I was so disappointed in the way we were playing. Part of me wants Ridder to play so I can stop hearing them ask for him and once he struggles under the same weight of this flawed team, we can hear the calls to “Bomb for Bryce” or whatever. I still support MM running this team until coach decides to make the switch. I truly believe Ridder would be in if he thought he could be better.
Tbh it’s not all on Marcus the defense allowed 232yds of rushing how can you win a games if you allowed that many yards on the ground. With that said Marcus does needs to get rid of the ball and not take those sacks, he knows better than that he’s a vet. Maybe the O-Line needs help.

Facts but the team looked bad yesterday no way around it. Mariota while yes he mad some bad decisions was at fault the same amount as o line, defense coaches etc. everything was bad yesterday just take the L and move on to next week.
Bruh you’re a Oregon fan who probably bandwagoned the team after they signed Mariota. How you gonna judge a fan base and you’re only loyal to one particular player?!? You probably said the same thing about the Titans and Raiders fan base when they realized Mariota doesn’t have the ability to be a successful starting quarterback in this league as well. The Offensive line was pretty bad, Marcus had no time to throw the ball, he was scrambling all game. Panthers defense won the game as they also stop Falcons supposedly strong run game. Look at the penalties as well, miss kicks. I feel bad for Marcus as he trying to find his place back as a starter but he’s starting with a pretty bad team, so he’s always going to get the blame, that last drive for TD was a better resemblance at what Marcus can do when things go your way.
