JJ isnt near as good as Moss was. Moss would have had 3 TDs in the game against Washington. Moss can handle double coverage way better then JJ and he could out jump everybody to catch the ball. Moss caught passes with 3 guys on him, I doubt JJ has ever done that. JJ is a great receiver but not on the same level as Moss. You may argue that JJ has broken some of Moss’s records but Moss had a lot better receivers around him then JJ has had. Moss had to share catches with Chris Carter, a HOFer, and Jake Reed was very good as well. Just saying.

@Dee Sam Yeah Moss is arguably the goat, Sure Jerry Rice has the records but he also played many years with a few hall of fame QBs but if I had to go 99 yards with a second on the clock I’m choosing Moss over any player all time.

@Purple punch 420 yep you got that right. QBs aside, Rice played 6 more years then Moss. If Moss played as long as Rice he would have broken all of Rices records probably.

@DaunteSRT Miami was without Tau and many other starters that game. Miami’s is 6 and 0 with Tau at QB. Tau is very important to that team just like most starting QBs are to their respective teams. I am Vikings fan too but reality is reality. Miami beat Buffalo with Tau. You never know, maybe we will play Miami in the SB again.

Again..not saying he’s a better QB than those mentioned. I’m merely saying he’s a better pocket passer and can drop dimes to his receivers. Those others rely on their athletic ability to escape and make passes. But they can’t throw some of the deep balls that Kirk can throw…right into the basket.

@Vu Ville what games gave you been watching? You may want to look up some stats. Cousins doesnt have near the arm that Allen or Mahomes have. The only reason Cousins even has a completion over 40 yards this year is because of JJs yards after the catch. Hurts and Tau even have more long bombs then Kirk. I like Kirk and he is pretty good but there are 8 or 9 QBs I would rather have on the team. Allen, Mahomes, Hurts, Tau, Brady, Herbert, Geno Smith, Rodgers, are just a few.

@Tony you speaking nothing but truth. I’ve been a Viking fan since the Fran Tarkenton…Chuck Foreman…Bud Grant years. This team reminds me of our great tradition. I like this team, but I think we can get even better if we stay united as a team a fan base. Praise the whole team. Not one player.
