Steelers defense on paper is better than the Saints Defense. Our defense has played well only in the two games they won. You can’t say that about the Saints defense. Now the offensive side of the ball is a different story. The Steelers offense hasn’t stayed on the field long enough to grade them properly. On the other hand, the Saints offense is playing with their backup QB, Andy Dalton. A better than average NFL backup QB. I believe the Saints offensive line is a veteran group. The Steelers offensive line isn’t. Advantage Saints. As for playmakers on the offense. Both teams are equal in that category. No advantage here. QB positions, I believe Picket has the potential to outplay Dalton if our offensive line can protect our QB against the Saints rush defense. The one thing that could change everything on defense is if TJ Watt is back on the field. He is a game changer. Will TJ be rusty? Sure. Will he be able to go all out? No one knows for sure if he can except for TJ. My question is his injury fully healed enough for him to go all out. If it isn’t, he could re-injure the pectoral muscle and be out the rest of the season.
