Vikings vs. Bills: Realistic Super Bowl Preview? – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
El Rono

I’m sorry but the Bundesliga comparison doesn’t work at all. Leverkusen vs. Schalke would be better.

I don’t know if it will be the bills and The Vikings but I will say that I do think that the final 4 teams will be the bills the chiefs The Vikings and the eagles

    Bobector

The best 4 teams all making it as the final 4 never happens. There has to be at least one team that surprises people. One of those teams will lose in an upset. It’s just the nature of the playoffs

    Chosen One

I think it will be 49ers vs Eagles and Bengals vs Bills

    Sir Hoopalot

Bills aren’t even getting out their division

    Chris Zimmer

@Chosen One I’d be OK with that

    Joey Pesek

@electrickrain Vikings would be at home against Dallas. Nobody beats the Vikings in Minnesota, not even the Eagles

hawgwobbler

Even as a Vikings fan I don’t consider them to be a SB contender at this point.

    Goodnight Munchie

You don’t believe in the white choice to lead the Vikings to the Superbowl 🧐🚬

Gary Gagnon

The Vikings haven`t played against any really good teams beside the Eagles which they lost too, and against a backup QB for Miami, let`s see what the next 4 games do.

The Hoff

The road to the Superbowl goes through Philly. The only way Philly loses is them making mistakes to cost the game. Even if the Cowboys add OBJ they don’t have a better/more complete roster!

    6 to midnight

@The Hoff Sure bud u go with Power Rankings cause power rankings are what matters.

    The Hoff

@6 to midnight still no response to why you think I’m wrong. But hey I get it your team is not at the top so you want to lash out.

    6 to midnight

@The Hoff I’m not lashing out , I just don’t believe the playoffs are going through Lincoln financial. This time last year EVERYBODY said the playoffs were going through Arizona and look how that turned out

    The Hoff

@6 to midnight The Eagles are not expected to lose any games they have left. The only team with only one loss is the Vikings in which the Eagles beat them and break any ties. The next teams are the Cowboys and Giants in which the Eagles break those ties as of now. Also after the trade deadline and the addition of OBJ the Rams were better than the Cardinals. A bad defense with not so great offensive plays changed that. But Cardinals of last year are no where near as complete of a team as this Eagles team is. And no one was saying the Cardinals were the best team in the NFL last year. The Rams were mentioned and Packers were mentioned as contenders thanks to Rodgers and Adams.

    6 to midnight

@The Hoff Sounds like your mind is set, so I just have to agree to disagree. Nonetheless it’s gonna be a fun season. Glad the East is back!

Renno

I just learned this morning that Jamie is the reason the vikings lost that 2017 NFC championship game, because she jixed the team by wearing that mask. God Damnit, Jamie!

    Goodnight Munchie

You can count on the white choice for a victory 🤨🚬

    dees

nah nfl made the vikings throw bc they were scared of the backlash of them winning the sb in their home stadium hahahaha

    Just My Thoughts

It’s because the eagles beat the shiii out of the Vikings

danny brown

Minn. Defense allowed commanders midfield every drive.
The newly acquired tight end is absolutely the most dangerous piece.

    FlamingTulip96

Cam dantzler was out and cam dantzler was out most of the game, evans did a good job filling in for them tho

The simple truth, it was week 2, it’d be different if it were more rect but teams during week 2 aren’t the same as they are now in week 10. I said it before. You can run that game back and you will not get the same results twice. The vikings issue isn’t whether they’re good enough or not, it’s whether they can win a key road game in the playoffs. They’ve done it recently but they’ll probably have to do it again. The difference is, if the vikings had the top seed in either of the years last, they would of went to the superbowl. The nature of the nfl is the best team doesn’t always win. Hence why home field matters so much more because it’s just one game and anything can happen.

As far as now though, which team looks better, I’d say neither. Difference is though, both teams will be making the playoffs, but the vikings will be in playoff scenarios in the coming weeks, meaning win or lose, they can learn from the experience. The Eagles may not even get a chance to learn the rest of the season. They’re just riding their high into the playoffs meaning they can easily get knocked off due to having an easy schedule. Realistically, the Eagles have to show they’re the number one seed against average teams whereas the vikings will be much more prepared due to having a much harder schedule.

    jrdb19

While I do agree the eagles still have a pretty hard secular New York twice Dallas and the titans so they will be tested by some top competition also there division is way more competitive and unlike Minnesota they really can’t afford especially in division games any slip ups Mike work against them to keep winning but I would say while the teams overall are easier they have more pressure to close out this season as with Dallas and the giants right behind them and even Washington hungry for a playoff spot they can easily fall from first seed to 5th

    LeXiO

@jrdb19 The Cowboys and Titans maybe, not the Giants. That being said the vikings have to face them as well. I believe whoever wins the top seed in the NFC will make it to the superbowl. The vikings are fortunate that the hard games are coming up now, and they’ll probably secure the NFC north by the end of the season meaning the final games against their divisional opponents won’t matter less they have a shio at the top seed.

Josiah Prosser

I think if we had TJ Hockenson for the eagles game I think we would’ve had a shot cause irv smith dropped that deep pass. After he dropped that it really let the air out. But the eagles didn’t even want to win in the second half. A rematch even in phillie will be a fun game to watch

DANDLION TV

I’d love this matchup for historical reasons. Both franchises are 0-4 in the super bowl so somebody’s getting their first ring

    dsscam

A Super Bowl matchup that will NEVER happen

    DANDLION TV

    @dsscam i wouldn’t go that far

    Joe Boo

I’d love to see this match up. The game would go to 7 OT periods and end in a tie.

    DANDLION TV

@Joe Boo “on the next episode of top 10 snake bitten franchises” lol

    KB43

This is exactly what I’ve been telling people!!!!

Mr Green

A good challenge for both teams

Ramsey Barnes

It’s going to be Miami vs San Francisco. 😉

    Chris Zimmer

    I’ll accept that…

Fran Ohmsford

Leipzig-Freiberg? NO! Freiberg didn’t make it into the Bundesliga till 1993 and Leipzig weren’t even founded till 2009 and have only been in the Bundesliga since 2016.
That is a terrible example for Vikings-Bills…..Much closer to Panthers-Jags!

A better example would be if Bayer Leverkusen {literally nicknamed Neverkusen!} were to play Atletico Madrid {the only team to reach 3 finals without winning} in the UEFA Champions League final!

Alan Page was not just a US Judge, he went to UofM Law WHILE playing in the NFL. Studying law books between practices and games, in the locker room, studying for tests on the Vikings’ team bus. After he received a Juris Doctor he worked at a law firm in the off season. After the NFL, becoming an Assistant Attorney General, ultimately going on to sit on the Minnesota Supreme Court(1st African American on that court), being elected four times, until the Minnesota mandatory retirement for judges at the age of 70.
FUN FACTS- Page was the first defensive player in the NFL to win MVP in 1971. The only other Defensive player to ever win MVP is Lawrence Taylor in 1986.
He ran Marathons, and was the 1st to complete one while playing. A Defensive Tackle, that would run 26 miles….. willingly. And would run 40 miles a week during the season, and farther in the off season. Still averaging double digit sacks a season, during that time.
He was born in Canton, and actually worked on a construction crew that helped build the HOF that he was enshrined in.
Sooo much more, everyone should check him out.

Logan Finn

Of course, Kyle would think if the vikings beat Bills, Pats, Cowboys, and Jets were still not good

Jacob

Harris Okudah Jacobs Elliot and Joseph the best secondary I have ever seen in my life and they have no Walker. Okudah has had the toughest reciever battles this 2022. Just imagine when Romeo gets back on the field. mOney

Original Norseman

I love this show, but this Philadelphia Shellacking is BS. You would think it was 40 to 0 the way it gets exaggerated. It was 24 to 7 but if you watch the game the Vikings beat themselves. The Vikings are 13 on strength of schedule. Philly is 31. It’s a joke they have to play the Giants and Cowboys. So do we. We are a different team right now than what showed up for Philly. Fck Em. 🤣

viking raider

I like the Vikings but after the bounty gate I realize we may never win we make the playoffs but lose first or second round to a good team with defence or inconsistent offense bills have better chance if thier qb gets healthy bills have good defence

Eletrik89

A week two loss for a team that was and still is learning new schemes on both sides of the ball literally means nothing.

TyB Highlights

Philly has had the 2nd easiest strength of schedule and the Vikings have had the 13rt hardest. The eagles are a very good football team but I don’t think they’re as good as their record.
