That is not even close to being true!
It’s his win – loss record that has been bad in those games. That record is because he has been on lots of rubbish teams, despite his good play.

@Scruff D0g No but he is close with the Broncos and there has been tons of talk about him joining ownership. I doubt that in any way means he can’t answer that question though – maybe the producers said it would be too technical a discussion for the show, who knows.
@D.S I hope he got the question answered by them, but just a few minutes later when they roll the highlight against the Saints he brings it up again. Hopefully it was like piggybacking off of their previous question and not some “passive aggressiveness”.

I actually wish Peyton and Eli would have gotten more in depth, but it seems like they’re trying to keep it really general for their audience, which I think is a mistake. I mean first Kirk asked what they saw that defenses were doing that had lead to a pass-unfriendly season, and Peyton just responded “a little bit a team by team thing, but yeah looks like defenses are a little ahead of offenses right now” … he could’ve said “defenses are using cover zero a lot more!” Then when Kirk asked about cover zero … no answer.
@Barry Sanders Sure they talked about it during commercial break. They only have so much time with the guests and they have to “get” to the silly stuff.
Having Peyton and Eli doing this is the best thing I’ve seen ESPN do ever it’s a way to watch the game without hearing Joe Buck constantly 😂😂😂

Eli is hilarious, asking Kirk if having “another QB a few years older around, always bugging you”, “asking for a friend…” LOL I remember the old ESPN commercial where Peyton and Eli are walking slowly behind a group tour, flicking each other’s ear and bullying each other like kid brothers, then Peyton kicks Eli in the back of the legs with a behind the leg reverse kick. Also Hilarious.
I’ve been waiting ten years for Kirk to have a start like this, yet he isn’t happy because he knows he can play better. It will come Kirk. That man the definition of humble, why I’ve always liked him.
Always been a fan of Kirk. He seems like such a good guy. Glad he’s having success this year.

It was obvious to me that this dude can play QB. He was so accurate, as accurate as Peyton. And had a beautiful touch. And he could go through his progressions quickly and nearly always find the open receiver. The guy was definitely the best QB the team has had in easily 20 to 30 years. They pissed on him and the result was him getting the last laugh. It goes to show that if you are a principled standup guy, you will eventually win in the end.
Kirk is the best guest ever on this show. Dude seems really down to earth and the fact that he took this opportunity to try to learn from two of the greatest qbs of all time really shows where his head is at.

@jappaminks no he wasnt, and hes def. not “one of the greatest” hes a subpar .500 QB that had the luckiest throws in SB history backed up by a great defense. No shame in that, but hes far from great, more like average, thats his record: Average(.500)

Kirk may not be elite, but he’s a genuinely humble dude and seems like he’d be an awesome teammate. I really hope he is able to shut up many of his detractors this year.
