@KingDizzleLTDinc. they did say interim, so i am sure they will be looking in the off season. Hell, the last time i saw Saturday was an announcer on tv. Kind of strange.

Broncos Stampede you obviously don’t understand what happened in Indianapolis with Luck or anyone that followed him. The line has sucked since the day Jeff Saturday retired. It has been one of the worst lines in the NFL every year and only the quarterback outperforming what should have been necessary has made it look passable. This year it is so bad that it has even destroyed the running game.
@TDsly Luck was getting injured constantly because they never fixed the o line while he was qb they had one of the worst olines every year luck was qb. He thought about his health in the end and that was a good decision on his part since the colts didnt

Not Frank Reich’s complete fault. The Colts have serious crap players, the team doesn’t play like a team. Fire the whole coaching staff, and focus on the offense.
I agree. I blame most of it on the front office and ownership but they scapegoated Carson Wentz and Matt Ryan as the problems

@Mandeep Singh my point is that they have tried to bring in a qb rather than drafting an “teaching “one! Rivers, Wentz, and Ryan are all bad moves on qb that are old or injured. If they want to contend they have to draft a decent rookie qb and build their team

Kinda feel bad for him. Luck left him and had to go with Jacoby, got an worn down Phillip Rivers, a injury prone Carson Wentz, and then Matt Ryan who’s at the end of his career.

@3lement2010 Part of it was the Falcons defense though obviously but Kyle Shanahan was atrocious with their offense and settled after they scored 28 points.
@3lement2010 Yeah but there were other factors like not using Jonathan Taylor this year. Yes he’s playing through an injury but it’s not bad enough to where he can’t do what he did last year.

@Danny Boy Ehlinger pronounced like ga not ja I said it wrong at first too lol. He’s only played the two games against the Commanders last week and Patriots yesterday he hasn’t looked the best but it’s not entirely his fault it was Frank not getting him started from last year on.

The Colts have been looking for coaches and quarterbacks since Tony Dungi and Peyton Manning. I think Rivers and Ryan were solid . Colts fans I know Jeff Saturday used to play for the Colts and is the interim coach but who should be the new coach?
Ryan wasn’t solid, but I think it’s because of his shoulder. I think we have a real chance with him if he recovers and our oline is fixed

As a Falcon fan, I’m so disappointed in how this season has gone for the Colts. Was hoping yall balled out with my boy there.
Our O line sucked too much, If Matt Ryan had the time rivers got 2 years ago he woulda had a solid season, but for some reason the O line has disappeared
Matt Ryan was overrated with us for years finally he was revealed to be the overrated QB as so many of us knew.
The Colts had a winning season last year. Carson was 27-7 with one receiver and Eric Fisher at LT. For all the talk about layups and Hines being underutilized, he was traded while playing with an “upgrade”. Go figure. 2021 was also the first 17 game season, had it been 16 they would have made the playoffs. This came down to a player who was deemed fortunate to get another opportunity after 2020 who had the audacity to not get a COVID vaccine, thus in Irsay’s eyes, not making the best of his new lease on NFL life so to speak. I would have kept him, gave him an off-season where you could build around him and try to win one more game. Games like the one in BAL came down to not being able to kick. Versus Oakland, Carr made a remarkable play. It’s not like the Colts were getting the doors blown off them. Given the circumstances, they did pretty well. Hard Knocks, COVID, longer regular season. Again it was a WINNING season. You sure up the tackle position try to get a WR to pair with Pittman and run it back. Pierce could have been the new Ertz. Irsay got emotional as usual and looks like a complete buffoon right now especially after spewing all that vitriol in the off-season. Serves the Colts right.

I agree, they should have kept wentz, yeah he was a little erratic sometimes in his decisions, but he had a solid year. You’d imagine another year with the offense would help him settle down more.
Hopefully the team can regroup and be cohesive for the rest of the season 😟
