I’m a falcons fan and even I say the falcons deserve this loss. Missed field goal and that dropped fumble are only 2 of the main mistakes that cost them the game. After last weeks roller coaster of a win against the panthers you’d think we would’ve figured it out by now especially with a lot of our hurt players back. But as always the falcons never disappoint me with making me have anxiety attacks throughout up until the end just to watch us lose because let’s be honest we really should’ve lost that game last week too if it wasn’t for that call by the refs on that panthers player for taking off his helmet. We’re number 1 in the nfc south because of Tom Brady going thru a divorce not because we’re good.
Some here yes atlanta falcons deserve this loss but we are 2nd place nfc

they stopped giving CP84 the ball. he scored their only points and with 5mins left they had time to do what their best at which is run, with either running back, but instead their best playmaker (CP) is on the sidelines when it matters most and it showed. it’s not a 2 minute drill you don’t even have to pass unless needed, you know you can’t rely on your defense, so logically you would really need points while running as much clock as you can which shouldn’t be hard considering ur strength is running. BUT they decided to do the opposite of that and not play ur best player or waste any time completely leaving it down to your defense which at that point it’s over. and ik 94(i think?) had 0 reason to fumble and you wanna say he should have went out of bounds or covered up but ball carrier awareness isn’t a something he needs for his position or that he’s used to. it’s more embarrassing that the D got a break from god having the chargers go from the 19 to the 40 something with 20 sec left and all you have to do is not let up a big play and force dicker to kick a 45+ yarder, but instead they let them back to the 19 in 2 plays to secure the L

Herbert is throwing 30-40 even 50 passes per game. Dude needs his top receivers back man. With that kind of load and his recent injury, I am fearing the worst things for him down the road. Chargers need to do something if they want their franchise QB to last. Fix that damned OL too. Injuries are a bummer man.

Actually that is in fact incorrect, the Falcons SB was in 2016 but the next season, in 2017 the Falcons went 10-6 back to the playoffs… its after that season when the whole things collapsed (though it does feel like the Falcons will finally be getting out from under that collapse this season or next). I’m assuming he was talking about the Falcons as the Chargers were above .500 last season
Flacons made the playoffs in 2017 and had a winning record for a part of 2020 with I think a 3-2 record or something

Well considering how many times Atlanta could have won this game maybe a top 3-5 draft pick is still on the table…. this team has been so impressive with their tenacity and never say die attitude (wish they would’ve had that in 2016 but never mind) that it’s really exciting watching them… however…. we have got to sort out the QB position…. we cannot waste Pitts and London’s rookie contracts messing around with guys who will not be long term solutions, we are not the Colts thank God! Maybe Ridder is the guy (I have a feeling is isn’t) but we need to sort it out
