JAX has definitely improved last season. Some will say this was a choke from LVR, but I say JAX wanted it more. Lawrence and Etienne are some serious talent to build around for years to come. Congrats on the win JAX πͺ.

I see a lot of Dougβs 2016 Eagles in the β22 Jags: a hot start, immediate improvement from the season before, and loads of potential especially at QB, but then losing close games, mental mistakes, and playing streaky. Dougβs second year in Jax will be very interesting to watch.
@Jonathan Wallace Much respect to true Jags fans, as the past few seasons have been most cruel. Here in the Tampa Bay area, the die off of bandwagon Buccaneers fans has been phenomenal. You could forget thereβs still a game on each Sunday.

This one seems easy. Multiple games with a big lead before halftime. Opposing coach makes necessary adjustments. McDaniels does nothing and gets summarily outcoached. If you’re down, you adjust. If you’re up, you adjust to what you anticipate your opponent is adjusting. Always 2 to 3 steps ahead. If I were an owner I’d challenge potential head coaches to a game of chess. That would help narrow the field quickly. It would probably expose a lot of these guys coaching today.
There are some positives to take from this game. Well, only one positive and his name is Dabante Adams.

Sdaly it seems they’re pulling another Dennis Allen on us. They’ll keep him for the next 2 or 3 years winning 3 to 4 games per season until every drop of talent this team has is out of the team and then they will restart “Re-building”.
It was puzzling why McDaniels was hired in the first place. I remember what he did with (to?) the Broncos. But that was 2009, so maybe too long ago for anyone to remember how he destroyed them? NGL, as a Chargers fan I was scared when they got Adams, but low key happy with bringing in McDaniels.

Couple things, Jax played late game, they just wanted to see what the Raiders would come out with after last weeks game. Jax had a couple of slips that led to a couple Td’s. But they verrrry quickly adjusted, understand who Carr was looking for and it was butter from there. Also take a look at overall snap speeds, throwing, defense, everything about Jax was faster and more aggressive. Then the damn guy narrating it kept calling that one receiver A T N , “eh tienne”. What a game though, Jax looks great. Raiders look like a retired football team doing it for fun.

I was at the game. Fans were pumped up when Jags came back. It was loud. I don’t know if they showed it on TV, but a fan charged the field. It was definitely something crazy to witness
