I really think Brandon Staley is showing his lack of experience as a coach. We have alot of injuries at wide receiver but he’s acting like everything is okay when it’s not. We definitely should have traded for Brandon Cooks or some speedy reciever.. I don’t know why Staley is so comfortable for what we have at receiver right now it definitely makes you wonder if he really should be our head coach… I just hope it works out on Sunday.

Absolutely not. The Texans wanted a 2nd and 4th for Cooks. That is an absolute overprice for a receiver of his age. Absolutely not. I agree wholeheartedly that I wish we could’ve made a move but if those types of moves were the only ones available, then I’m glad we didn’t jump the gun.
do you expect him to panic when the person coaching a whole group of people panics the rest of the people will panic too which aint good for the win mindset that they have installed

Any Franchise would HELP their TOP 5 quarterback who is hurt by getting him weapons that will get open and not allow him to stand in the pocket or throw to receivers with no separation. Herbert won’t say anything because he is a humble human but we the fans see that he is not able to find any receivers open consistently with the current roster (injuries are not an excuse to let your top 5 qb SUFFER)
Herbert is closer to baker Mayfield than he is to Josh Allen. If u look at the film, he plays eerily similar, footwork and timing wise to JaMarcus Russell.

This is the wrong season to throw away! When asked about all the explosive plays the defense has given up so far this season I heard DC Renaldo Hill say something about guys not staying at their levels & that’s allowed the opposing offense to get behind the defense & all I could think of was WTF! Are we talking about coaching in division 2 college? For Christ sake! Where is this “defensive guru” defense we were supposed to have THIS SEASON?

Staley really watched a prodigal, once in a generation talent that he inherited struggle to throw the ball down multiple scores against Seattle, who at one point in that game was down his WR1, WR2, WR3 AND WR4 and thinks everything is okay. This guy is clueless and needs to go.

I think Staley is one of the nicest coaches in football. I watched his press conferences . I looked forward to his optimistic approach. But it appears you don’t care.If you’re not gonna make a move. You have to galvanize the team. Similar to a baseball manager getting ejected to giving his team a boost. Show your team you care. These are men who are probably questioning him. You don’t have to be inside the locker room to feel that. He’s gotta yell at one of these pressers or something show the fans and the players how much this means.
This is a ‘ Swing Pass Joe ” type of game , here , coming UP ! Glad we had a good week & MORE injuries & on a BYE week ? Only the CHARGERS could do this , just like the 2010 season . If you don’t know , go look that year up . ONE for the record books & NOT a good RECORD .

Have Carter do punt returns and be the #2 or #3 wr depending on if palmer is back and all that and have joe reed do kick returner and be the 5th wr/rb he can do so much for this team just needs the chance he can play out wide he can play in the slot he can take handoffs as a rb he can return kicks and punts and was effective at doing all those things even shown he can do that in the nfl all be it was limited opportunities but he has shown he can do a lot even run past the defense for deep balls can track the ball very well I’m telling you he is closer to what deebo samuel can do then a cordell Patterson but not saying he is better than either of those players but I do k ow he is good and can offer this team value in many different ways and be effective at that he even showed that he can be a good punt and kick gunner thus staff needs to stop being boneheaded and use the players we have and stop acting like Jason moore is so good he sucks bandy is fine in the slot stop using him outside but it makes no sense you have two 5th round wrs in joe reed and John hightower and have keelan doss all three of those guys are way better than moore and joe reed is one of your drafted guys he has good speed and has shown he can be effective at multiple things so stop being stupid and figure out how to use the personel that you do have you got Everett palmer and hopefully Carter playing you have ekler use joe reed or hightower for speed and just try to be a little less predictable and you dont gave to go run crazy but you still have to get something going on the ground 20 or more carries and we need 80+ yards on the ground and dint have herbert throw for 50+ times for 0 to 4 yards a pop that’s not gonna do it if anything that is worse for justin we seen him be able to rip it still and we seen him throw for like 60 yards still some qbs cant even do that with all their might so we know he is fine enough to not be doing the damn surgical six passing game stop with all this short stuff that is at the line or only going for 4 yards max if you do that with Carter or joe reed that’s fine but stop using slow guys in that roll it doesn’t work and also we have to have some passing plays that help herbert access deeper parts of the field which like I said before that’s why the run game is so important if we can have a decent run game that will only help the passing game that much more for having the linebackers biting on play actions and hopefully running more roll outs and RPOs
