Campbell is an emotional guy so it’s natural that he would reach that moment a bit earlier than most of his predecessors but you can tell from his body language and tone he’s there now. You even see it in his play calling. He’s more conservative because he knows this club just can’t overcome the miss-hits. The question now becomes, will he be the first coach to find a cure for Lionization or will he be another in a long list of guys who drew checks from the Fords from some locale other than the Detroit metro-area? I like the guy, and I’d like to see him figure it out but time will tell if the Dude abides.

Good luck getting your hands on those lightning quick receivers and then missing and getting beat deep. Come on. Like Aaron Glenn said, your best bet is keeping them in front of you. And that doesn’t work great either. Either get pressure on the QB or you’re toast.

Lots of respect to the Lions and their fans.

Phins fan here…it’s not easy to get hands on Hill or Waddle. They’re both so quick with their release and get off that it’s really hard to press them, and if you miss, the ball is over your head.

I think a lot of the frustration I’ve seen is with guys not getting their heads around in the first half (when the Lions we’re trying to press…they played off more in the 2nd half)…

It’s hard to get your head around in trail when a guy is about to run past your safety help, and you can’t replicate speed in practice.

I can see how a fanbase would worry about not being able to stop what was a focus, but most teams have A guy who can stretch the field, not 3-5.

Mostar, Hill, and Waddle are legit 4.3 guys, Gisecki is a 4.5 guy, but he’s 6’6”. Edmonds is a low 4.4 guy.

With Tua healthy, it’s honestly a pick your poison offense. Miami can pick up chunks from anywhere on the field.

Honestly, if Tua hadn’t gotten hurt, the Dolphins are probably 7-1 or 6-2 at worst. Y’all caught a buzz saw today, on offense, but you’re a lot better than people think, and I’m betting there will be quite a few wins this season for you.

Now, go kick the Packers tails so I can talk junk to my sister. Lol
