Last year he was getting 25 plus touches a game, this year he’s getting 20 on his hardest days. Some of that is scheme, we’re a much more pass happy offense, and some of it is spreading the load to Mattison who deserves some more playing time and can help keep the load off of Cook so he’s not banged up and exhausted come this winter.

he had the injury and then splitting a lot of snaps with mattison,probably the vikes not focusing a lot on the run game, but he was running well, saw the game right after the shoulder injury and he was running with no fear outside the pocket getting 7,8 yard chunks so it’s not like he was looking like najee harries this year or sth, he’s just so good when he’s healthy and they need to focus on the run even more, especially with 2 rbs who are so good, no point in having kirk throw it 35-40 times when you don’t need to get into this shootouts, especially in this cards game, just run the ball, convert your 3rd downs and don’t allow arizona to make a run in the 4th
