@Mario Lewis Chubb had 9 games left for Denver. We either had to pay him BIG TIME or let him go. Instead we got a 1st round pick for him. This is a huge win. There is no way we could pay another edge rusher when we have so much young good depth there. We need to spend some money on the line.
5.2 sacks a season, 9.8 games played per season. I get that he’s a fan favorite but he’s not worth the 20 million he’s expected to get

Great trade , moving on from a player who hasn’t stayed healthy and has been a disappointment for the most part. Chubb was balling out this year , but this is the right move for both sides.

Denver won this trade big time lol. They weren’t going to pay him and with his injury history who can blame him. We got a first round pick out of a non-qb position. That’s as Good as It gets. I know he’s a fan favorite but this was a really good deal we got.
Only time will tell, let’s not fly the cuckoos nest just yet.

Chubb is good but Denver drafted Bonitto and moved Browning to outside Linebacker /pass rusher for this very reason. Now with the money they would have given Chubb they can upgraded the o line and grab a cheaper pass rushers in free agency if needed

It’s always funny how when a contract year comes up how good players get and once they get signed how they fall off a cliff. It’s hard to not like Paton. Did a really good job answering some really good questions.
This Chubb best season, he be hurt most of the time. Good trade, the GM is good, hopefully Wilson and Coach get it together. Hindsight we probably could have just payed Miller and not gotten Gregory, I hope he plays, he gets hurt alot. Miller use to get hurt as well so perhaps they all do. Jewell can’t stay on the field at all. Got some good young pass rushers though.
Overall I am very happy with this trade. It was strictly a business decision and we got plenty for Bradley Chubb. I don’t feel like re-signing Chubb would have benefiting the team long term. Not saying that Bradley Chubb doesn’t deserve the 20 million per year he is going to get, but we have other gaps in our team that we need to address first (O-Line)! We have options now! All the best Chubb! Go Broncos!
Welcome to having a team like the packers. Atleast Aaron is a good quarterback but ppl forget football is a team effort. Wilson is short can throw But every team knows that. As long as a team have a great defense.
Paton is a true professional

George Paton is a legit GM. He’s been fire since he came on. Love his attitude, demeanor, strategy, communication, and eye for talent.
Yet they have a losing record!
uhhh.. 245$ million, 165$ guaranteed, no, things are bad because of Paton, who is likely gone at season end with Hackett, could things turn around? maybe.. of course maybe a clear pic of a UFO will surface too

I truly believe that George Paton is actually a good GM. He’s actually made reasonable decisions. I also like how he try’s to make big moves for us and even though it hasn’t really be been working out, I have a lot of respect for him.
Yeah what a good GM, giving Russell $245 million before he played one down for the Broncos and giving away their best pass rusher so they can draft someone late in the first round. Maybe he’ll draft a punter from a divsion 3 school or the best waterboy Ohio State has to offer.

With Chubb gone it becomes a lot easier to keep Dre’mont Jones who is killing it and no history of being hurt. This was a great deal for the Broncos now and going forward.
Love love love Paton… all the right moves and all the right answers. You can’t pass up a first round pick for Chubb going into his pay day. This team need a year to gel and they don’t need another big contract or tag for Chubb.
