@W. Dearth I don’t expect them to win – I expect them to be competitive and not have stupid penalties. Play hard, do your best and come up short is acceptable. Today’s effort was not.

@RiskTakin Steelers appetite for winning is on par with the Lakers and the Yankees. Which pretty much means we are all starving to death around here. Hoping big Ben’s career would end like elways but it didn’t. Elway had Terrell Davis. 2017 was the last time Steelers had a legit team. And they came up short. 2010 was the last time before that. And they came up short. Nobody’s spoiled around here. Highlights are just beef jerky snacks.

I’m all for it.. Just want us to score atleast 24 points in a few games and have something to build off of. But this is like watching paint dry & occasionally using the bathroom lol 😂

I disagree we should be 1-7 we beat a bad Tampa Bay team and we should’ve lost to the Bengals in week 1 at least give us that hahaha!

actually, we could easily have beat the Jets, Patriots and Dolphins. That said the team is weak due to the lack of talent on the lines and bad scheme and situational play calling on offense.

@Mike Cox Tom Brady had wide open receivers that dropped passes and he over threw others that were wide open those would’ve changed the game. Our Steelers are really really bad and it sucks

@GreatWhiteMan I’ve never been a fan of him since we drafted him. He can’t keep his feet in and out of routes. He is always slipping. Goes back to college days. Has been with him ever since. Can’t catch the ball consistent enough and doesn’t have the break away speed to score from a quick route and or pull away on deep routes. He’s a number 3 WR imo. No one is helping this team but it starts with the OC putting them in a position to succeed. Canada has not done that.

IF they keep Canada and IF the first snap against NO is ‘Najee up the middle’ ??? Then the Rooney’s need to get bombarded with demands from the players and the season ticket holders!!

@KingDaddy I totally agree. Canada is an issue, but we definitely can’t put all the blame on him when numerous other offenses run the same schematics and have better production. That falls on the players. We know this issue. DJ got paid and now he could care less. That’s a revolving door in the league

@GreatWhiteMan doesn’t help that we’re the highest paid defense In the league and we’re giving up 30+ points a game either… there are a lot of issues unfortunately. We need to build for the future at this time. The NFL has changed. Look at how Philly and KC and Buff have turned their franchises around. They sold a lot of assets for picks and they used the draft to build again.

@KingDaddy we are a solid defense. Honestly tj being out (highest paid defensive player) *worth every dime* has definitely declined our production. I mean we seen week 1 he just wreaks havoc, it takes 2 people to account for him and a chip, cam over powers who ever is infront of him, Highsmith is playing well so that will leave him practically unblocked. Bush has stepped up alot in coverage, and minkah will always be minkah. He’s given up big plays recently but alot of its because we’re not able to get to the qb. And we know with tj back that will not be an issue.

It’s a different game with tj. He takes opposing offenses off the field, and Kenny is moving the ball better than mitch. If we can keep the offense out there, produce some points, even if it’s 3, and kill the clock down and let the defense make necessary stops (what they’re being paid to do) I feel we will make alot of these games more competitive.

But honestly we just threw a rookie QB with a trash oline, the worst #1 reciever in the entire league, a hb that falls down at the line of scrimmage, a banged up defense, and a practice squad kicker vs some of the best defensive units the league has seen in some time.

We need to be and should right there with them. It can’t be easy for them, they WILL get there sooner rather than later! GO GUYS, HANG IN THERE!!! 💛🖤💛💛🖤💛🖤
