You can tell Justin hates doing these press conferences because he would rather be working but he was raised the right way so he still articulates his reasonings and gives the right responses although his body language is screaming he cant stand these stupid questions at the same time lol

I really liked his answer to the last question. Of course he’s glad he’s getting another weapon – what QB wouldn’t be? But Claypool isn’t some cheat code that’s gonna let them put up 50 every week. This is the football at the absolute highest level, you’ve still gotta put in the work every day.

Trevor Lawrenxe & Justin Fields were 1A & 1B for YEARS from late high school until the last year of college, when the NFL took a side, then suddenly hyped other sudden flash-in-the-pan QBs, yet of all 5 early drafted QBs that year, he still seems like IT to me.
I think Trevor’s got the edge, but you are absolutely right about Wilson and Lance. Fields hasn’t gotten the same chances as them in terms of weapons, but hopefully this offseason they keep adding weapons and O-Line guys to help truly evaluate him.

Half of these questions are trying to lead him into giving a certain response and he wasn’t having any of that since it would mean throwing someone else under the bus. True leader right here. The Bears have their QB.
