It maynot be this season or they may bring it together in time to make the playoffs who knows but you got to keep hope alive or what’s the point in cheering for Raiders if you don’t have patience for this team just go find yourself a new to team to cheer for ✌️

I think that’s how they got their jobs. Mark Davis doesn’t know football, so Ziegler and McDaniels selling themselves was like used car salesmen selling a lemon to someone who doesn’t have a clue about cars.

Man you know what’s weird? All this talk from both Raider coaches & some players saying how ” We need to execute better..” and ” Players are still learning the system/ playbook ” …Yet, with the exception of Josh Jacobs, they weren’t playing ANY of these starters in the pre-season. Even freaking Pat Mahomes was out there throwing passes and trying to workout kinks during the preseason. So, WTF…

@LAS VEGAS A’S CASPER AND the team finished out the season with a 4 game win streak. Finishing the RS strong was huge. Absolutely something to build on. You’re nuts if you don’t see that.

Takes a while to turn around the mess Al left Mark to clean up after Al ran this organization into the ground and made the Raiders the biggest joke in the NFL
In all of his evaluations and finding the pieces that fit and what works, how has McDaniels done coaching a team that went to the playoffs last year?
1) Foster Moreau- he has only improved because he has had time to play since Wallers out. He improved because HE has always been talented. If it was because of McDaniels, he would be a top 5 TE because of the plays that McDaniels inputs.
2)Eluemenor- Has improved on endurance. Not so much technique. He always been average, which is why he has been in the league. But technique wise, he has not been playing lights out. He still gets penalties because he lacks discipline… id put that on coaching.
3)Jacobs is balling out because he is finally healthy and we have an O-line that can open gaps for him. He has always been good WHEN he is healthy. Also, defenses normally spread out because of Devante and Renfrow. That has also helped. BUT, Saints proved that Jacobs can be stopped. McDaniels has not made him better. I also find it hard to believe that McDaniels wanted munford, a seven round pick to be a starting RT for a non mobile QB in a SB talented team. Injuries happened, but no sign of urgency to win now.
4)Deablo has been shitty on coverage which is why he has so many tackles. Him and Perryman have been a liability in the middle. Idk what he means by coaching improved him.
5) Treyvon has been getting roasted alot. Again, idk what he means about coaching has helped improve him. If anything, they are doing him a disservice for not getting him a LB that can cover. He has been getting roasted because big plays are happening down the middle. Harmon has been his only hope, which i give credit more to Belicheck for his defense skills.
Ziegler, i think he is a good GM. I honestly think a GM main priority is to 100% invest time into scouting players for the draft. Good draft=success. Coaching wise, McDaniels just isnt HC material. Offense coordinator? Genius. But thats why there is a difference between HC and coordinator. I expect a HC to be able to look at the team in whole and not only bring in the locker together but also be able to let the coordinators know when there is a problem. He should be able to let Coordinators when to play more aggressive. When to let OC know to either change the plays because rhythm is also important. If Carr is told to move around, he will do it. He wont just tell the HC “no”. But McDaniels just doesnt have that person to tell him that the rhythm isnt right. He just doesnt know how to read the rhythm of the game. Which is why devante adams is just a decoy and hunter renfrow is being put in situations where he cant adapt. Almost as if McDaniels doesnt give them freedom to adapt. His playbook is great but he doesnt know how to build relationship with his players to figure out where they would flourish in his playbook. Then when we look at the sidelines and it looks like they dont care, thats on HC to atleast say something. Its like they know they dont have the option to loosen up and try to make decisions themselves collectively… now my venting is over.
Ps: i still believe we can win the SB (yea i said it). I just feel like players need to take it upon themselves. McDaniels is a liability at this point. Pretty sure he still here because Ziegler is his boy and because mark davis will look horrible if he fires him during mid season… that said id go hire Brian Flores asap and keep everyone but McDaniels. Still an easy schedule, still a talented roster, actually simplify this offense and CRAWL WALK RUN. Thats why the Military uses that recipe. IT WORKS.

I for one am glad we didn’t waste any picks for a player. We aren’t ready and one or two players wouldn’t have moved that needle much.
Not a single press writer asked, “How does a 10 win/ playoff bout team, who added the best receiver in the NFL, go to 2-5 the year after?”
I still trust Dave and Josh. They stated this was an evaluation year all offseason and nobody listened.
My son and I share this perspective:
I’m starting to see why they’re so chill. They’re trying to build the team in a different way and getting high picks is apart of that. Losing was always something they considered and ultimately ok with they’re going to gut and change the entire team. Carr could easily become trade value so could Waller and Hunter, I think they will keep Davante. They wanted to see how it would work and it’s not but they ultimately have another plan in place it seems, this is long term with this GM and coach.
Why do you think Mark won’t commit to long term with Josh and Dave? He gave Jon a 10 year deal and I’m sure Mike was in for long haul but he had to blow that up outside of his own desire to. If it was up to him Jon would still be there.
