The Panthers used him well and he broke records in Carolina. However, he was injured the last 2 seasons and didn’t play. Go look at his highlights in Carolina, same as this game.
it’s crazy how the deep pass game is gonna really open up, CMC and Deebo are gonna make so many defenses bite short. Aiyuk, Juan Jenning, Kittle are gonna eat deep. Kyle is letting Jimmy rip it loose just to see if he can throw it good deep and he’s showing that he can get the ball downfield with some zip

Jimmy can’t throw it that deep. He is constantly under-throwing people. CMC’s TD pass was longer than any TD pass JimmyG has throw in 2 years.

I don’t know about those say Jimmy can’t throw deep. Lol. Jimmy is stronger this season then last after the rotary cuff surgery. To hit that deep fade route Jimmy hitting needs a strong arm and he’s been on target this season. Reciever drop few of the deep balls. 15 yards in the league is considered a deep ball. How many teams have go or post routes as their main weapons. Just move the chains and Jimmy one of the best moving the chains especially 3rd and 7 or longer. Top 5 in the league. CMC created a miss match for the defense. CMC definitely will this team to another level.

Only thing stopping this team is injuries but if we some how manage to stay healthy I will bet on this team against any other in the NFL not just the division. Lest go Niners!
A lot of y’all trashing jimmy g but he played super well that game, and if u didn’t notice he starting to get out of his comfort zone and throwing more deep then usual.
That run where CMC jukes Wagner and gets to the 1 yard line was special. Eli Mitchell might be able to do that but if that’s Jeff Wilson, he runs right into Bobby Wagner. CMC is special (obviously) – not many can change direction so easily. So freakn glad we got him!
I think there are maybe 5 NFL RBs who can 1 find that hole, and out of those 5 maybe 2 or 3 who can get skinny enough and are agile enough to exploit it. Y’all got a special back.

At the very end he made the comment that McCaffrey is playing for the best team he has. McCaffrey was a wasted talent with the Panthers. Being paired with a QB whose 1st instinct when pressured is to run is not the greatest place to be for a talent like McCaffrey. With the Niners and Garoppolo he will get more touches with outlet or safety valve passes. Way better use of his talent.

Christian McCaffrey is simply a beautiful player to watch play. I hope he finds even more success in San Francisco and stays healthy.
Eli michel going down early in the seaon really put the 49ers in a hole. CMC was such a good addition. He’s doing it all from running, to recieving, and throwing.
