I agree with what I saw someone else said, game by game you are losing the fan base. Trading away James Robinson for a potential 5th round pick? They needed a good RB to save their season. You let him go basically. And you haven’t learned how to stop the penalties every game.

Just be real about what’s going on, especially when there’s nothing to lose by telling the truth then lie and lose respect from the fans…. Maybe this is why The Baalke hate is so strong, it comes from the top. I’m sure this plays into our reputation as an organization around the league.

If they had a need and you had a good running back to fill that need why didn’t you leverage better trade value? This move has undermined my faith in the running of this team.
Fans can sit here and complain we didn’t get a 4th or something, but none of use were in that room when it happened. You have to presume that was the optimal bargaining point for both teams.
@Moon Illusions I’m gonna sit here and complain that we’re giving away some of the best players in a fairly talent thin roster, that’s accurate.
This staff and front office have lost a lot of trust and credibility that they were afforded by this fan base. Not just trading James for peanuts, but the two or three terrible coaching decisions every game that one could argue are leading to our losses is becoming very concerning.
Clearly James wasn’t worth a 4th, so they got what they could get from a 1b back with 10 games left before a contract. Makes sense to me
Doug made it clear without disparaging James….he said “i have a lot of information that you (the press) doesnt have” James is probably a lot more worse off physically than he is going to say. He doesnt want to put James in a bad position by saying that.

Chemistry, if you have a guy everyone likes as a person pouting on the sideline bcuz he’s not getting snaps that could take a toll on the guys. To add, now the 3rd back will be the power back so everyone happy now.

DP isn’t going anywhere. This was always considered a developmental year with so many young guys on the roster. I think everyone got a bit overzealous when they started out hot, now they just have to mature and figure out how to finish out games. Next year I would expect a more realistic playoff push.

James Robinson is worth more than a 6th round pick.
He’s a fringe top 20 RB IF THAT, went undrafted, super average this year, and his contract was up soon. If he gets 260 more rushing yards the 6th turns into a 5th it’s worth it get out ur feelings.
People act like Hasty is so much faster than Robinson. Just not the case. Both guys are mid-4.5/low 4.6. And Robinson had exceptional quickness and vision…and he’s a proven starter, unlike Hasty. We all know he wasn’t getting re-signed, but for a 5th rounder (assuming he starts and produces) the value just isn’t there. If the point is “winning right now”, this just doesn’t make sense. And as for pass pro, there is no debating who the best back on the team was.
I know it’s a business but I hate trading jrob. When we had nothing to look forward to atleast we had a beast in James very sad day. Good luck jrob!
