When the last time you see her mom or dad talk to the media in the middle of the season I give her credit for speaking out.
She’s a different breed. May not be a genius but she’s actually qualified to be team president despite the obvious nepotism involved. At minimum she’ll get the lions organization from bad to average.
Her reputation is really relying on you giving her that credit. She thanks you.

I honestly like her answers. If only she would have stuck with her guns when Caldwell was coach we wouldn’t be in this position of quitting and restarting every two years. And complete rebuilds take more time than adding a new coach to an already good team. We definitely don’t have a good team right now.

I much appreciate Ms Hamp coming out and telling us where we are at and what the team direction will be. The pundits all speculating on firing people or not firing people, trading top players, trading for top players…
With this insight, we can focus on what it actually is in front of us instead speculations.

Much respect for coming out and speaking to the media. I wondered how much patience our fanbase would have when mcdc was hired and this new rebuild was put in place. Are we really willing to accept 3 or 4 crap seasons to get this thing right? I think Sheila is. If you really believe you hired the right people then you have to believe it is a means to an end.
You godda love how up front she is. Shes speaking directly to the Lions fans that love to hate on their own team and call for peoples jobs with the patience of 8 year olds.. Yeah you know who you are. If you can’t handle it go take a nap and give this team time to bulid. It doesn’t happen overnight.
In December of 2019 I was very vocal and adamant that the Fords sell the Lions franchise! But as Jan. of 2020 came around Mrs Ford Hemp started changes. Coming out of this year’s training camp we all witnessed many more changes to the Lions Roster and a GRIT attitude that is contagious. However, even with these changes it was clear that the rebuild process wasn’t finished yet, mainly on the D side of the Ball. Seeing Mrs Hemp address the Lions Fans was not only refreshing it’s only reaffirming what I’ve been watching and believing. I think that if Swift and Brown start Sunday, along with the much needed additions to the D, as well as the changes to its schemes and Players techniques…. I’m calling for a Lions WIN on Sunday against Miami.
