    James Robinson is only on a 3 year contract. He will be a RFA next year. Jets are not going to pour money into RB if Breece is ready to go.

    @Michael Frazia I doubt Breece will be healthy by preseason. Your looking at a week 5 or 6 return. His ACL is going to take about a year. It’s a bad tear.

    @Fin i agree…I was so happy to have this guy that I researched the hell out of an ACL tear.. I kept seeing at least a year….then I stupidly listened to jets fans with no surgical expertise who said he’d be back for the start of the season…I think I know the answer is dire, but I just want to hear people keep saying he’ll be back by week 1 lolllll….i love robinson to fill in , but breece is another cat on another level

    I actually watched him play against our team in highschool. He single-handedly whooped us. I guess his grades were bad, which is why he didn’t get to a big program in college. Really cool to see the same guy I watched 8 years ago now play for my favorite NFL team.

    I wanted to ask a jags fan about him. So you’re saying that Jacksonville did not properly utilize Robinson? What was your impression while watching him play as both a runner and pass blocker?

    @Dylan Calhoun He probably wanted to be traded tbh. The last game was ETN’s first official start, but has been the feature back the past couple weeks. If he stayed here his value would be near nothing by the end of the year going into a free agency market. I feel bad for him because there’s rumors about how he was virtually all alone during rehab and had to do everything himself. He has ok vision and is a bruiser but he doesn’t have break away speed. Good pass blocker, that’s where my main concern is rn with our rb depth… sorry for the book

Since 2012, only 4 out of 403 players picked in the 5th round have more career scrimmage yards: Marvin Jones (2012, 135 games), Stefon Diggs (2015, 109 games), Tyreek Hill (2016, 98 games), George Kittle (2017, 72 games).     Great stat! Both teams win. He was undrafted, they got a pick for him, and the Jets get a back. Hopefully that leg injury is healed and he’s close to being this player in the highlights.
