i was so happy last week and felt kinda confident when he felt more honest and less plastic in his interview, not smiling all the time and beeing a bit more serious and not beeing overly positive even though there was no reason for it.
today i get this again, and of course the good old “broncos country lets ride”, i really hoped it would be over with it.

The guy who traded for this guy, giving away much draft capital and good players plus Drew Lock; then, he signed him to a 1/4 of a billion-dollar extension without playing a single snap is George Paton.
Hard to blame Paton. He put a team in place with pieces that is good enough personnel wise to make the playoffs with a superstar quarterback under centre. No one envisioned Russ or the offence being this bad, the coaching hire we can question but bringing Russ in wasn’t a bad move at the time. Hindsight is a beautiful thing
@Charlie Grace It’s a “what have you done for me lately league”, and hindsight plays a big part in it. The new owners are looking at the bottom line. Paton’s early wins mean nothing at the moment.
The ownership had to agree and right now they do not give a crap about what Wilson did yesterday or what he might do tomorrow.
I see no problems with the trade itself. Russ had been a good quarterback for years. The only head scratcher was that extension. Tho if Russ balled out it would’ve been seen as a genius move on Paton’s part.
Why did we have to overpay so much to get this guy?

I really hope he gets it going this week. Tired of all the hate! People crying about the picks that havent worked out on a quarterback, Russell has proven he can get it done and i hope he does it again!
Tired of the hate. We are tired of his atrocious and horrendous play on the field. Tell the Walrton family, the ownership that he has proven he can get it done. Do you know how many QB’s there are who used to get it done. The past just does not matter unless you are in the past. He is not getting paid $256 million dollars for what he did in the past. If you are a manager and fail to meet your margins and targets at work, do they care what you did last year or do they expect results now from you as a leaderin their organization. When you get paid that much, you get judged on your performance every single week. How many good weeks has Russell had?

Thank you for picking up that ridiculious contract, and giving my seahawks the chance to win again. Every one knows in Seattle its all about Russ, and now Denver knows too. Ya’ll will never win more then 6 games with “Mr. Unlimited” and Nathan “CANT-Hackett”… Broncos gonna be the new Browns of the early 2000’s. Only diffrence is the 260 million ya threw away. litteraly threw in the dumpster and lit with a match.. lol
We have an awesome defense, but when your offense is the worst in the league it’s almost impossible to win games and especially when the coaching staff just cannot seem to figure out and formulate a good game plan/plays to create opportunities to utilize our awesome array of talent and score some actual touchdowns!
I hear ya bro, coaching & converting 3rd downs have been horrendous. Hopefully Denver can pull off A win before the bye but I have my doubts.
it also is a problem that a 250M QB keeps missing wide open dudes all over the field. But I guess everyone wants to blame Hackett for that

As a Seahawks fan I want Russ to have a good career but at the same time I don’t want him to have more success than the Seahawks!
Also dude needs to focus on football not building his brand!

Why not more successful then the Seahawks? Do you think what people are saying about him is true? I agree he should stay out the limelight, and truly focus on football. Russ is in the prime of his career.

maybe they’re rebuilding around him. everyone was excited when we acquired Russ. so yeah they spent money to secure what we thought was an elite QB. no one knew that it would take this long to get going. so I see the GM making moves for next year to boos the talent of this team.
He still hasn’t learned. Your teamates do not want to see you up on a podium smiling when your team has been this disappointing. Is there any other player who does this? All he has to do is take notes from how his peers handle these situations. When he stands up there smiling, it lkooks like he does not care enough about the team to feel the pain his brothers feel. It’s just mind boggling how out of touch this guy is. Is he even paying attention? It’s the same monotone voice wirth the same smile as if he is completely out of touch and just following a lifetime of being programmed.
When the OBVIOUS answer is “they PAY me to be on the field thats where I want to be”
