As a Vikings fan I have to say the Vikings have drunkenly stumbled to victory every time except for Week 1 where we played a non-existent Packers team. In Week 6 our offense didn’t even get off the plane till around the 4 minute mark of the second quarter…it was 3-n-outs for days. For most of the game, the Miami offense was a better defense than our own though in the 4th quarter our D did make some stuff happen against Waddle. The only thing we can really say we’re good at this year is getting stuff done in the last two minutes of halves which was a real problem before. The Vikings sitting at 5-1 doesn’t mean they’re good. We’re 3-0 against division rivals…and those division rivals aren’t looking amazing either but we almost lost to the Bears and the Lions. We ever-so-slightly beat the Saints in week 4 and then barely beat the Dolphins by a touchdown and a 2pc in Week 6. We have some games coming up that will really test us and probably knock us down a few pegs. I think we’re likely to win the division if Aaron Rodgers keeps “simplifying the offense” of the Packers and saying all the morale boosting stuff he’s been saying lately, but I don’t know if I see us making a deep run in the playoffs.
Yall I’m a bears fan. Every team is out here looking elite. Vikings seem pretty good
@Adam Kieffer They deserve more credit than that. The Vikings have stayed in games and closed them in the 4th. That is not some drunken stumbling accident, it’s the sign of a solid team. Should be a good game.

one of the problems the vikes D has shown, they can get pressure on QBs, they just cant tackle on initial contact.

i know this is a vikings-cardinals preview but i just want to defend cameron dantzler cuz i feel like they attacked him too hard and i know some of the base stats aren’t great but i completely blame that on this awful soft zone scheme because when cam is one on one man to man he’s been pretty good this year
Yeah one of the highlights they featured was that huge Waddle crossing pattern and that was in Cover 2 so Dantzler was on the other side of the field and had nothing to do with it. A little lazy tbh

I think people are sleep in how good the Vikings line is now two tackles that are top 10 at their respective sides Bradbury playing at a 16th center rating instead of 33rd and Ezra is the top 15 at lg most our sacks come from the rookie taking his growing pains right in the beginning of the season I think if he can step up this Vikings team can win almost every game

This is a big chance for the Vikings to prove themselves more. Nearing the midpoint in the season we need to see if we can play a complete game.
Biggest threat to the Vikings is Murray’s scramble ability! I don’t know what it is, but Vikings since forever it seems struggle vs mobile QB’s!
Vikings and Cardinals games always go back and forth in a good way its always fun to watch these 2 teams go at it but I think at the end I have to give the edge to Arizona 33 to 30
