um.,.. that would be the seahawks. Giants literally starting like 6 top 6 picks lmao. Seattle’s doing this with a bunch of castoffs and late round picks, any bum team niot called the Jets can be good after picking in the top 10 for a decade straight lol

There’s no way anyone expected the Seahawks rookie class to be performing this well so early in the year. Two rookie tackles on the offensive line, a rookie running back returning from a college injury, rookies in the secondary at cornerback – where else has a locker room this young and inexperienced been this effective? And with the draft picks coming from Denver for the next two seasons, potentially one in the top 5 next year, Seattle is sitting pretty for the next iteration of this squad. Geno has certainly been a surprise, but my shock has been from the immediate impact their draft picks have made right out of the gate.

John Schneider needs to win executive of the year and it’s not even an argument. We drafted SIX players who are all legitimately playing good or better. It’s amazing I’ve never seen something like this.

@Kenneth Rolls it’s realistic though. If you see a team who just traded their franchise QB and is deciding to start 6 rookies you’re probably not going to be very hopeful about them being successful. Not only have we been successful but the specific players that caused the worry (Geno and the rookies) are the ones arguably playing the best on the team.
I mean shoot it’s definitely the New York Giants , no one thought coming out , they would be 6-1 and in second place of the NFC East , they should make the playoffs definitely

I skipped all the preview shows this year, if that’s true this is great. Dalton & Green rookie year they said the same thing than playoffs.
i gotta go with my team seattle on this…. it hurt when we lost russ… hurt even more when we dropped bobby that same day.. Majority of us didn’t know what to expect… 2 VET leaders all gone within the same season. LOOK AT US NOW. pete carroll is looking like a fricken genius with the trades and keeping this young hungry team together. ON TOP OF THAT we got GENO moving this offense better than we have seen within the last few seasons! I’m excited for the future of this team
Do you think after the geno story that the Seahawks will be a team that attracts a high end qb in the future like Lamar Jackson if Pete Carroll is the head coach.
It’s why talking about tanking is stupid. Why would anyone want to come coach or play with you if that’s how you are gonna play. Players want to come here
I was talking to someone the other day about this. I don’t think getting a new QB is in the cards for Seattle. They don’t need it. I Think Geno has waited long enough and Pete Carol trusts him. However, I think they can attract high end talent for their defense. My issue with the seahawks right now is that they don’t have the best defense right now but with how well the team as a whole are playing, I think they could attract talent for defense.
Pete Carroll is my favorite coach In the league, next would be coach Harbaugh.

I’ve been wanting to see Geno Smith play qb1 long before these stats.
I seen the arm talent with the Jets my question was his maturity. Rumors when he was a Giant he didn’t look in his playbook or study film. With Jets just young & learning to be leader. Love seeing him play & this OL. OL needs to run block better.

Seahawks have a good story because Wilson and Wagner left so immediately there veteran leadership isn’t there and suddenly they have a good class that’s breaking out and geno is playing good . W/o doubt Seahawks are an argument to be a surprise but the same coach who’s won super bowls he’s supposed to be doing these things it’s his normal. They got solid wrs and a rb class obviously w walker
Daboll comes in this Giants team with nothing to really work with and finds the medium to get this team on a 6-1 record after doing shitty for so many years so many coaches so many bad records. Must I add with an injured team as well? and has jones playing much different the. They were years before ?
I honestly thought that the Seahawks were a 2 maybe 3 win team this year. They played awful last year, and while yes the rookies were great pick ups, I didn’t think they’d make a huge difference in regards to their season. Now? I can easily see the Seahawks making the playoffs and even possibly upsetting a team in the first round. I’m a Giants fan and I can tell you right now that I thought the Giants would do about as bad as last season, maybe win a game or 2 more but that was it. I’m ecstatic with how the Giants are playing right now, and I didn’t expect them to be this impressive. That being said, I thought the Seahawks were DOA this season, so I have to give them the nod in this debate. Still hope we win though this Sunday. Let’s go BIG BLUE!
As a Seahawks fan I never thought we’d have 3-4 wins this season, but that’s exactly why we love our franchise! What the boys have been pulling out so far this season is absolutely great! Whatever the trade has shown so far, it wasn’t consistently Wilson who made the team so good! Wilson has done a lot for the Seahawks, yes, but it can also be done without him and that’s a fact and a good thing !!! I’m really looking forward to the 2023 draft !
This is the same old story, nobody respects the Seahawks in the media unless you live in the NW. This is just like when they went to the superbowl for the first time or when we first got Wilson. Nobody outside of the NW pays attention to the Seahawks until it’s too late. This is old news and always has been. Always a 12, Go Hawks!!!!
I think both our teams have been the biggest surprise. Nobody thought we were gonna be good with Geno. And with giants their coach has been the biggest breath of fresh air for the team. This Sunday is gonna be no joke. But I’m biased and I’ll say Seahawks win lol!! Go Hawks!!
This is actually a tough one. But I think I’ll go with the Giants by a hair. The Seahawks could be expected to be half decent…maybe win 5 or 6 games…they still had Lockett and DK…no one saw this coming from the Giants
Its because of NYG O line….. They can play…. NYG hasn’t had that good of line even backup since 2016.
