CLEANSING FIRE

Lions will never win with the fords

Collin Jesiper

Swift is Injury Prone, Goff is getting paid to make good throws not bad throws, Carolina, 3rd string QB beats Tampa, Patriots, 3rd string QB humiliates Detroit, excuses, excuses, excuses

    Corey Patterson

Exactly so sick of hearing excuses meanwhile the jets and giants having good seasons so far just sad and pathetic!!

    Von dee Gaming

who’s he throwing it too lmao 🤣

    Don Bur

@Von dee Gaming it’s week 7 everybody has injures that who’s he throwing it to excuse is dry & played out now

    No One

    @Corey Patterson truuuu

    No One

@Von dee Gaming an NFL WR?

Collin Jesiper

Anyone can look good in Practice, bet the whole team can tell ya how accurate Goff is at practice

    Collin Jesiper

@Enigmatic Brain ummm they are excuses, are the Lions the only team in the NFL that suffers injuries, as I have mentioned already in other comments, Patriots, Carolina can win with a 3rd string QB, Washington beat GB with their backup qb plus they were down a starting WR, they still have plenty of talent to win games or maybe they really have no talent at all

    No One

@Enigmatic Brain Other teams have injuries too. If Goff can’t throw in accurately to a backup what makes you think he’ll throw it accurately to the starter. Brad Holmes is not the GM we need. Levi Onwuzurike? Brockers? Goff?

    Enigmatic Brain

@Collin Jesiper can’t I use that exact same argument in reverse? How did the great Aaron Rodgers and the great Tom Brady, who basically walk on water and will both probably be in the Hall of Fame before they ever retire, NOT lead their teams to victory over lesser opponents? Could it be that perhaps some of their best offensive weapons were out yesterday? We know Aaron Rodgers’ best weapon is playing football in Las Vegas! Green Bay was guaranteed to fall back based on that alone. As for Tampa Bay I don’t really care, I’m just glad to see Brady lose! I’d be willing to bet they were probably missing from key people as well though. They did score all of three points after all.

    Collin Jesiper

@Enigmatic Brain Tom Brady?, who did he have as weapons? Bill didn’t get flashy players for Brady, he developed players to be above average, Moss was still good but past his prime when they got hi, that’s why Bill trades down a lot, he likes to develop players, The Lions have deep enough talent at WR and RB, Reynolds did pretty darn good last year holding h8s own

    Enigmatic Brain

@Collin Jesiper Brady had his best year ever with Moss, remember 16-0? He wasn’t past his prime either, not even close.

Pheardom

As a season ticket holder, I’m going to all the home games no matter what. Like this coming Sunday I’ll get to see the Dolphins team live, for the first time for me. That makes attending every NFL game interesting.

That being said. The Lions losing all the time is very unfun!

    DukeofGames50

As someone who cannot afford the luxury I say thank you for supporting our team as heartbreaking as this year has been thusfar

    Jamie Smith

Your sentiment isn’t that foreign. I remember a promotional campaign by the Detroit Pistons where they specifically hyped other teams because no one wanted to go to the games. “Here’s your chance to see the NBA Champion LA Lakers!!!”

ImBearingDown

I put together a video of all of Hutchinson’s pass rushes Vs the cowboys if any of you are interested.

    Tim Stort

    Post it

    little buddy

You should put together one of Rodriguez where was he today?

David

60 years of watching this crap. I just want 1 super bowl in my life.

    Quasar

Not seeing that ever !! I quit watching several years ago after 3 decades

    Don Bur

Get a playoff win 1st sir

David

Swift is truly a paper lion.

    Ed Huffmaster

I think he waiting to move on to a new team.

Tim Stort

Offensively you can’t run the clock out 6-3 first half three timeouts left. You have to be aggressive when you’re lacking talent. Also the play calling is so bad on offense, Ben Johnson needs to look in the mirror and be more accountable, be aggressive, calculated and WIN

    Ed Huffmaster

I agree, when I saw that happening i said this is where the game is changing and the Lions where poorly coached, they needed to try and score right there, and they needed to practice their 2min drill, they sure need it, what a bad coaching decision.

    No One

Ben Johnson? More like Ben Dover

    Bryan Smith

Running out the half was a terrible move. Could have at least worked into FG range, or is this offense incapable of making that happen with all their timeouts? If so thats a problem.
Goff’s tendency to “burn” downs and our coaches inexperience controlling the flow is just constant self inflicted wounds.

VietnamVet 67

65 years of rebuilding and I have been alive for all of them.

    Ed Huffmaster

    ..me to

    No One

God bless your soul. Cracks me up when people say we are “currently” rebuilding when , like you said. 50+ years we have been lol

    Cort Major

Goodness man, I’ve only been here for 40

Rob Kopple

It’s time to give Sudfeld some starts. How much worse can it get? Maybe he’ll actually not turn the ball over and perhaps win a game.

Matt Hix

Ughhhhhh

Daniel Griffiths

2 minutes left in the second quarter with 3 time outs, rather than going for points they ran the clock out and acted as if it was the end of the game. And that decision was the end of the game for the offense.

    Ed Huffmaster

    I agree.

Cort Major

Campbell is a tool. But nothing matters as long as the Fords own the team.

dirk digler

The lions are laughable….like watching slap stick comedy.

jrgetda

If Dan Campbell did this with the 49ers he will be fired this season if he did that with the Baltimore Ravens he will be fired this season if he did this with any winning franchise he will be fired this season what all the franchise makes you got in common Super Bowls what we don’t have a Super Bowl and this is why this team so cuz we continue to move backwards

Tombond Crispy

We need to be a run first team. They have abandoned the run game..

Tombond Crispy

I think Taylor decker has lost a step, saw him get beat a couple times. No sense of urgency either just slow walking around 🤕😕

Justin Baumann

This feels different this year. You can see improvements across the field and 1st and 2nd year players improvements week to week. We just need our stars (Swift, St. Brown, Goff) do what we know they can do and this thing can flip. In years past any success the Lions had was solely on the backs of stars having exceptional years (Sanders, Johnson, Stafford, even Tate) but now the lines are better the depth is better we just need stars to show up and show out.

Dee Boykin

Goff still can’t see the whole field and he still hesitates on his throws. Every game he throws a pick and shifts the momentum. He can’t create on the fly outside of designed plays. He sucks. I knew we would still suck this year, I figured 6 games, but they have been horrible in decision making both coaches and players.

Jamie Smith

At some point in the season, it will become a game of “don’t be the worst player on the team”. Then it morphs into “play well to keep my spot on the team”. Then it transitions to “play well enough to stay in the league”.
