Yeah, thank god for mahomes and reed. Yet again making Veach look good when he has never played the game, no financial background, terrible public speaker, and I’ll give him average negotiator. Andddd he’ll get the credit lol I’m not hating I’m just trying to let people know Frank is being payed the 30 mil Tyreek could have gotten, but whatever, I mean I’m sure Veach played a lot of Madden so that’s good enough for the fanboys and Mr Hunt likes him❤. No doubt loving JUju and McKinnon right now. We needed a complete back and our defense is the strongest hitting D in over a decade.

@zeitgeistrat , Veach has drafted 5 great drafts in a row and he’s much better at the financial stuff than Dorsey is. We couldn’t afford to pay Hill, Mahomes, and Kelce. And this team is better without Hill. We have way more options in this offense.

My dude, I like the optimism but our star player and just about everyone else is about to strangle Bienemy if he starts an argument with Pat when the games on the line again.

@zeitgeistrat yeah I notice that with EB and Kelce.. early through this game.. take it more than just being on high alert.. with the tough competition… beside that definitely family..

Go check out JuJu’s interview after the game, he talks about all the guys playing COD the night before. Seems like nothing but it’s everything the qb and his team playing together communicating together. Shows how Mahomes tries to understand his teammates and that he actually wants to know them.

Really liking McKinnon taking sort of the lead back role here too. He deserves it and is truly a complete back. Love seeing the O come together like this. Don’t get it twisted, Veach never played a down of football, he made a mistake letting Tyreek go. Tha k god for reid and Pat. You can’t go wrong w those cats.

I love it too. We are starting to see it though. The chemistry between Mahomes and his options. That 3rd and 20 play by McKinnon was huge. Chiefs do such a good job of doing screens. MVS, Hardman, and JuJu had excellent games yesterday. Hardman had two TD runs and a TD pass. He had a TD pass and some catches last week. Receiving corps is getting better.

@zeitgeistrat , really you going to say that about Veach and he’s drafted well for the Chiefs last 5 years. What was he supposed to do? Give in to Hills demands and gibe him 30 M? Giving Hill that 30 M would have ruined this team. You can’t pay Mahomes, Kelce, AND Hill. No you can’t go wrong without Mahomes, Reid, and Hill, but we are a much well rounded team without Tyreek Hill and our receiving core is getting better and better. And our defense is improving too.

Please don’t forget to mention Williams. I played secondary my whole life and pay close attention to the players on and off ball and I’m telling you this Joshua Williams cat had a mishap with that first TD against the Bills, but I watched him the rest of the game and he’s a ball hawk. That first tackle he had on the tight end he double-taked him like “did the CB just hit me like that”. Such an upgrade from Ward. Good lord I hope the fanboys finally see how detrimental he was to our defense, and how many huge plays he gave up for us. Overall this is the best ‘tackling-secondary’ we’ve had in over a decade at least. Reid & Esp Thornhill are laying the broomstick. Watson is overall solid, Snead I swear is taking after some of these big hitters and you are starting to see him learn how to get parallel w the ground and lay a shoulder on someone correctly. Really really like the look of the D. To be honest Frank might have been the weakest link until that safety…I just hope it does take another 5 games before he makes a play. We are paying him the 30 milly we could have payed Tyreek don’t forget.

I hope the bye gives him time to get that heel healed up!
