@Joseph Clark I agree with most everything you said, Joe (and DJ). I’m optimistic every week. I was hopeful Rypien would light it up (clearly, he ain’t no Russ – but neither is he now, right?). I’m fed up too. Most of us fans thought that this would be the year that Broncos would start consistently winning like the Peyton and Elway years. Heck, I remember the Craig Morton years too. Anyway, if not this year, next year. Alas.

@Austin Gonzales To be fair, if I were a ‘Hawks fan – BTW, they were hella disappointed when the Russ trade was announced, I’d be gloating right now. I might even go to a Bronco YTube posting like this and shout “Go Hawks!” …wait, I prolly wouldn’t go that far w/o something substantive to say, but I’d be gloating for sure.

Just remember…Russ beat you in his 1st SuperBowl matchup like a Superstar and now Geno Smith is #1 in QBR in the league with Seahawks in 1st place, and only gets paid $3.5 million a year. Something just isn’t right.
This guy has call better plays to get downfield and score points. That’s all i can say.

We need to fire CantHackett! Why on Earth with ample time on the clock, would you call home run plays twice on 4&3 and 4&10 instead of calling higher percentage plays to try and get first downs. Hackett is a flop as an offensive play caller and he’s gotta go. Fire him now and let’s try and salvage something from this sorry season.

I knew there was trouble when I watched training camp and this man was grinning from ear to ear, tickling players and laughing like the novice he is. What frightens is that Paton brought this Loser here, why? Is all the idiotic talk about “hiring this coach to attract Rodgers”, true?
If you are sick of being up there repeating yourself, call better plays and play to the QBs strengths. Especially in the 2nd half. Two weeks in a row we have sputtered to a halt in the 2nd half. It’s disgusting

What strengths are those? I’m lost at this point.
The last few plays of the game are illustrative of the average play calling toppled with poor leadership from coaches. Why are you letting Ryp take 2 end zone shots 40 yards out? Outten will be the first to go. Kubiak could and should step up next for play calling.
@SlickChick he’s running an offense designed for Aaron Rodgers a trade that didn’t work out… Russell Wilson is NOT a pocket style QB…he’s small… can’t see…needs throwing lanes…he uses his feet…plus the play calling is predictable and easy to stop…

they held rust out because of the hamstring and lat injury. this was not a Russell Wilson decision Russ wanted to play.

He’s done in Denver. This game was the final nail in the coffin and this press conference cemented it.
Apologizing for saying “damn” when we’re 2-5 speaks volumes. Come on, Coach! I just don’t think the man can galvanize this team as a whole. Takes a special leader of men to be a head coach, it’s not just X’s and O’s at the pro level, unfortunately.
That moment when you have more fun watching the defense then the offense. LOL
So tough to watch this defense get after it the way that they are and come away with a loss each week. To only be giving up a little over 16 points per game, and still be 2-5 😮💨 VERY FRUSTRATING. I continue to be optimistic that something will change with this offense. Hopefully a good game in London against a 2-5 Jags team can spark something.
