@RU FireHeart I remember seeing a video of the game and Kelce was literally telling Mahomes what to do on every play of the “legendary” 13 second drive. Kelce is Mahomes’ brain. Once he’s gone, Mahomes will not have anything except for athleticism. Once that is gone around the age of 33 he’ll be nobody. The next Cam Newton.

People really thought that Mahomes was going to miss Hill more than the other way around smh There both are better off with each other but they’re still great without each other, with Mahomes continued greatness having a bigger impact due to his position being more valuable.
I think tyreek hill leaving the chiefs was the best thing for Mahomes career for the long term aspect. Since they don’t have that big threat ability down the field it’s forcing Mahomes to be better at reading defenses and be more precise with his decision making. He put up 45 points on a top 5 defense in the league.We’re all very lucky to be witnessing a Hall of famer in the making. We love you 15!!!!

I heard, but can say if it is true, that the Chiefs, without Tyreek, are now seeing different overages, including more man to man. The Chiefs also have more big plays this year vs last year.
@John Box The chiefs are still seeing shell defenses. THe difference now is that they have JuJu, MVS and Mecole (AND Watson) all much better role players than what we had in previous years.

That toss pass to Mecole on a jet sweep happened so fast, when I first saw the play, I didn’t see who got the ball until Mecole started running down the field. That’s genius play calling. It’s like watching David Copperfield with a football in his hands, then it disappears and you don’t know where it went.
