@Z Dubs problem is you don’t know if the kickers can be trusted because he doesn’t use them. Their kickers are 4/6 on fgs and 14/16 on extra points. Even Justin Tucker has 1 missed fg (11/12) and 1 missed xp (17-18). Kickers miss, that doesn’t mean you just stop using them. Kickers can be like shooters in the nba, sometimes they need to take 10 shots before they catch the rhythm and a kicker might start off 7/10 and then catch his groove and end up 25/31 on the season.

If Dan Campbell knew anything, he’d stop treating real live NFL games like the Madden world championships. Any cliche he spews doesn’t match his production. It’s more “bar is high” or “my shovel is sharp” bullshit.

Here’s the bottom line.

Find me one coach in this franchise’s history who pulled out of a free fall the way team is going……go ahead.

Dan Campbell literally is worse than Rod Marinelli at this point. The guy, who inherited a terrible roster, was 6-2 in 2007. Im assuming you’re too young to remember that, but look it up. That’s how quickly a bad roster can be managed and motivated back to even competitiveness.

You might want to let go of the cocky attitude and learn why so many long term fans have bailed on your boy here.

At this point, Dan Campbell is challenging only Marty for the worst win percentage in franchise history.

Until you can justify how he is any different than a motivator like Rod, who actually was effective, or a loser like Marty….I’ll assume you know you’ve lost this argument.

It wasn’t much of one. It was, basically, I like Dan Campbell’s fart jokes and tough guy persona. No reason why, but I’ll try to lecture educated fans that I see some clandestine powers he has as a coach.

I read somewhere, probably in these comment sections, if you stand in a mirror and say Campbellman 5 times, a bad coach will reveal himself to you…..and swipe his leg in a kicking motion toward you.

Here it’s a pretty intense experience……it’s probably about as real as some of these (super secret and complex) masterclass level lectures Campbell has been giving that everybody, except stupid people, understand.

Scratch that. It’s more real. We have tangible proof that Campbell has never muttered a remotely intelligent phrase.

Dan Campbell? He is an abysmal Rod Marinelli clone. You can’t possibly hate a 4 win coach. It’s impossible to hate a guy who 31 other teams would have probably fired by now. Hate would be saying he’s doing really good, like Favre always was, but he’s not good for some cockamamie reason.

Dan Campbell is a bad head coach. He might motivate guys and inspire. But he’s terrible on the field.

I don’t hate Campbell, I hate losing. Hating to lose and being a Lions fan aren’t traits that compliment one another but when you’re raised rooting for a team you either stick with em or crash the party and root for some team that wins, and where’s the challenge in that. I think most fans like Campbell on a personal level, but hell, I like my friends but I wouldn’t want any of them coaching the team. I said he deserves three years so let’s see where this team sits at the end of the 2023 season. If they are still losing for bone-headed reasons then he should be canned. That’s not hate, that’s just business.
