Thanks for all you did for us, CMC! Unfortunately, we didn’t have a winning season since his rookie season. We will definitely miss him and thanks for the memories. I will always root for this kid. Run CMC for life… 💪🏾😭🏈😭👍🏾

I hate to see his name not on a panthers jersey, but ts fine, we’ve secretly run him to the ground. I wish nothing ill on him, he’s one of my favorite players no matter where he goes, and I hope I’m wrong and he continues to have a long, healthy career BUT… as a Panthers fan who has been watching very closely every game he’s been in… we’ve run this dude to the ground. And evidence of it is the recent frequency of injuries. Especially that ankle.. 2 ankle injuries in back to back seasons, thigh strain, shoulder injury. I’m worried that he is not as sturdy as he once was, which means not only will he get another injury fairly soon, but it also might be one of his worse one’s yet. But again I’m not saying all this to knock on him or 9ers, and I hope I’m wrong and he has a long, healthy career. But from a Panthers standpoint, this was a really well-thought out move for many reasons.

It’s very difficult to get 1st Rounders back for a RB as thry just aren’t valued that high around the NFL anymore — QB’s Pass Rushers, CB’s & LT’s are about it

This hurt a lot but it was needed for the future, and forces the coaches to call plays that get other players involved instead of running with cmc or throwing screens and check downs all game to cmc

This is absolutely brutal, we’re a good qb and coach away from being a deep playoff contender and then this happens smh. I wish him all the success in the world and thank him for all his hard work but damn it if if this doesn’t feel like a huge mistake
