Gettleman won’t get any credit for this brilliant trade+draft pick. He essentially traded a washed-up OBJ for an All-Pro D-Tackle. Dexter is the heart and soul of the Giants defense, and Gettleman drafted him. But no one ever mentions this.

    @M Y Doesn’t matter. Gettleman still drafted and/or signed Andrew Thomas, Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams, Xavier McKinney, and Adoree Jackson. He traded back for an extra draft pick that became RT Evan Neal. Bottom line – The core/foundation of this 5-1 Giants team is all Dave Gettleman. You can pretend like this isn’t true, but it is.
