Offense definitely looked slow and play calling was sus again but our defense held it down and Hopkins is definitely the game MVP. Happy we won but got stuff to work on. Bolt up! ⚡️⚡️

Benching JC was the right move and I’m glad he made it. Sad that JC isn’t working out and was a major whiff as a signing, but eating that L (and the cap associated) is the right, gutsy call. A little more respect give back to Staley. Offense needs to figure it out though…

JC not healthy & not a whiff. The Charger’s doing what they do best run their best players into the ground so they not around at the end of the season. They should put him on IR with Joey so they can both heal up. It because of the contract they even playing him right now. It’s the spanos way. I’ve watch them do it for 30 years now. Bad signing? I completely disagree, JC is an absolutely elite player. They just need to sit him until his ankle is 100% since that’s proving to hinder his performance pretty drastically
our defense and special teams just won us a game after both being bottom 5 units last year
last year if herbert wasn’t perfect it was an automatic loss, say whatever you want about staley or the offense but dont ignore that
Solid win….Staley acted more like Bilecheck or Tomlin. He didnt panic. Took what the defense gave, and let guys do there job vs put the team in bad situations. No suspect 4th down calls. Coached a pretty good game, and of course got a few bounces to go our way.
So many ppl in the comments dont understand how critical Linsley is to the Offense along with Allen.

That month off might’ve affected him more than we know… He played that one game then needed two weeks off. He is fresh off surgery.. Hopefully he shows improvement soon. One more game then Bye week couldn’t come at a better time.

And Staley’s right. This was a team win. Our defense and special teams really picked up the slack of our offense.
It’s hard to tell whether our offense is lacking because of injury or play calling or both. Hopefully we can recover and win against Seattle this week, and recollect ourselves during the Bye.

@ThatGuyAron chargers fan: I felt like the game was called pretty fairly… there were 2 PIs that were called against Denver that were VERY questionable but felt like make-up calls after terrible no-calls. We got away with a no-call face mask by Derwin too.
The Mike Williams sideline catch was very close, don’t even know if they would’ve overturned it but I do think it was a catch.
@ThatGuyAron Honestly, this game was a ref party all night. I thought those were some egregious calls coming from a chargers fan.. But we had some questionable ones as well.. Not necessary to throw that many flags. The Morgan fox roughing the passer called on the chargers was ridiculous as well.. So was the Chubb roughing.. Weak officiating.
This was not an easy game they played against a really tough team with a really tough defense. A win is a win very Happy

Without Linsley our offense didn’t look sharp at all. With all of our injuries he’s the MOST important one that we miss. Our run & pass game wasn’t good today although we won. Hats off to the defense and special teams for holding up! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

@Dylan except he has tendinitis in his knee which kept him partially out of the Jaguars game. Tendinitis only goes away with a lot of rest. It’s not going away until the off season. And may very well keep getting vre- aggravated. I wish I could say for certain Linsley is here for the long haul. But he’s not 100 percent, so we need to invest in a long term heir-apparent

@Michael G I will respectfully disagree about Mike Davis. He definitely came into his own more last year, but previous to that he was mediocre at best. Until JC figures things out, definitely Callahan, Samuel and Davis give us the best chance.

No he has not played up to the value assigned to him…I dont see the hawk or the dawg. He looks very average most of the time. Patrick Surtain on the Broncos played a better game against Mike Will. Just imo

No one talks about the decisions ending regulation. The fact we got the last play up in the 4Q shouldn’t go unnoticed. We’re missing the leader on our OL and our go to/security blanket WR on offense. To beat a division rival with all this was so fun to watch. If we’re gonna make the playoffs, gotta win these type of games, great job boys. #BoltUp ⚡️

A very good complete team win. That Broncos defense is really good and so we couldn’t rely on our offense only. We had to dig deep and win on our defense and special teams. Dustin Hopkins was huge. Shoutout to Tranquil, he was huge. Finally, our team came together as one unit and won as one solid unit by utilizing all of our skill sets. Let’s go‼️ BoltUp ⚡️⚡️
If one or two of these games had played out differently (and we actually lost) Staley would have lost the respect of many on the team. Already JC doesn’t want to play for him and #KA13 has called him our publicly. This situation is very close to imploding. Staley is not ready for prime time and we dont have time to wait with JH leading the team. Please bring in Payton next year.
