Never, ever heard Justin Simmons sound quite so dejected. There was definitely some rage brewing inside this man on a few of those questions. That comment about insanity, is telling too. Is he talking about Hackett or the other coach OC that came over from GB with him?
He literally is the only guy in the WHOLE organization who is keeping it real. 💯

Justin Simmons is a class act. He is a tremendous player and leader for the Broncos. The team needs more players like him!
Field goals not touchdowns. Red zone. Trade Juedy and Gordon. Solve O-line problems.
You can see how much it truly means, great leader. Hold your head up defence played amazing.
The problem is Hacketts play calling, the O line, receivers outside Sutton who can’t get separation/drops, & Wilson in that order.

After watching the last 3 weeks I can comfortably say play calling and coaching has progressively improved, but the 2nd down and long runs are what kills us most. 2nd and 8 or 9 running the ball then setting up 3rd and 6 or 7 doesn’t work for any efficient offense

Watching this you could see he was very carefully picking his words. I think Hackett has lost the team.
Sad that he is the only one with a rational view of what happened in this game. You beat yourselves because your offense can’t make key plays and overall you have zero discipline. I knew that punt was gonna get muffed before it happened, that’s on the coach. Not enough reps.
Amazing Defense nothing to be ashamed of. You all deserve better. Kinda telling when he mentioned it starts with leadership.

To me are defense looked sound we just need to figure out a way to get more point we are 30+point scoring team if we really want to get into it
To see Justin so frustrated, this says a lot about the moment. Even in the last years he always looked like he believed in changing for the better, but, this is not the look that I am seeing in this interview.
I love Justin Simmons must be so dam frustrating for him to have a horrible offense and have the same result year after year. Love my defense they are the only ones that know what the hell they’re doing 💙🧡
