The key was only using Taylor and Barton situationally. I think Poona is finally in shape. He was moving faster than previous games.

    Also the coverage helps a lot. Makeing the QB hold on to the ball 1 or 2 seconds more can help a bunch.

    I think Barton has uses more then just “situationally” but I think with all the other guys we could use it’s probably for the best until he develops a bit further, Taylor looked amazing this game and Poona was always gonna be a space eater more then anything else but seeing him move with urgency is nice, Tariq and Coby seem to be getting the speed of the pros down at this point and Tariq especially is amazing already looks like a top 10 cb

    @austin allen Barton might be valuable in special teams…but..at linebacker..hardly at all. He’s pretty good at patting heads and high fiving around the pile though. I’ve slow motioned Cody’s last few games and counted his engagements, lacking doesn’t quite cover it.

    @imaguygolfn as far as I’m aware Barton is a second or third year player and I believe in the guy, we also have burr-kirven who should be playing ahead of him anyways, I think you could use Barton as a Blitzer or something on most 3rd down situations

Anytime that Barton is off the field we have a better chance. I’m sure they have enough blocking dummies at the the facility. Also, I’ve got my onus eye on Diggs. He seems to be making business decisions, getting juked off his feet and lagging in coverage. He’s getting exposed. NFL safeties need to play with their hair on fire. I’m not seeing that with Diggs.
