I agree that we will. As long as the Oline can start blocking better and the D scheme changes. Until it does, I’m worried. I’m honestly not worried about Rodgers, the run game, the WRs. I think all that will come together

Teams will continue to run man coverage until the Packers show they can beat it. There are ways to make it easy on your WRs. This team will have to dig so deep to dig themselves out of this hole.

They played a lot more man coverage than they had against other teams BECAUSE they don’t think you have a receiver that can separate regularly against their personnel AND that’s the defensive games plan every team should take until you show them otherwise. Compound that with the fact that the O-Line got manhandled, and you have a struggling offence.
No kidding. And that’s what every GB opponent will do, with single safety high and the other in the box to slow the run. The receivers are it getting separation and AR does not have much time. Of course they miss Adams, but they also miss MVS. Defenses are compressing the field.
It’s really simple football.
Disrupt route timings by playing a lot of man coverage, twists/stunt on the DLine and you’ll disrupt most NFL offenses
Until they force you to back off by running the ball hard
@Scooter well missing adams because just adams forced teams to have zone elsewhere on the field and they couldnt let everyone sit man to man and rodgers could pick that apart. But now consistently even lazards TD they create almost no separation which is so frustrating to watch

And we the fans, owners, and community need to be more involved in these conversations, and if we need to take a more aggressive approach in voicing our thoughts, than we will do that, because we can’t keep letting Matt Lafleur get away with these embarrassing performances.

From a fan point of view, there was a lot to be mad about, but I admire Coach’s patience in these conferences where the reporter presses on points as if he is the expert.
Why is Winfreee still getting elivated when he can’t do much! Toure needs to get a shot now and would like to see use tonyan and deguara more if receivers aren’t getting open
Tonyan is still on limited snaps after the ACL. Winfree is impressimg them in practice and Toure is probably struggling. Deguara is still missing blocks and misrunning routes
He’s right, it’s the fundamentals that need improvement. Blocking, tackling, looking for the ball in the secondary, staying committed to the run, no matter what, even to fault, doesnt matter. Focus on probably the backfield and linebackers next game commit to that dominate that and then expand on that after next game. Torque those areas.
That secondary is being wasted by not playing man.

Coming from an ex UGA letterman… Quay Walker won’t tackle…. he won’t throw his body around.. he won’t fill a gap like Krys Barnes did last year…. we need Barnes back….. Darnell Savage is afraid to tackle…. he takes terrible angles… we don’t use his speed… No safety or corner blitzes…. no creativity on defense.We have $12M to spend …. should have signed a Brandin Cooks in the offseason…. why aren’t we calling Will Fuller? Rodgers is going to retire…. We will waste 5 years on Jordan Love…. he is NOT the guy… decade of bad football coming up unless Guty and LaFluer grow a pair NOW
Gone are the days of physicality of Charles Woodson. If our defense was creative we would let the guys be physical. Aaron silently said without really saying we need to trade for WR. Gutey won’t, Lafleur is a marshmallow, nor creative at all predictable on every call.
Our problem isn’t Talent we have more then Enough yes Injuries are Happening but that’s all Over the league every game every week 2-3 people are being injured for weeks but we are well Unorganized and I do believe we will Do better but it’s time to stop talking about what needs to be Done and Just Do it it’s a lot of talk no action I truly believe every time GB takes the field they can’t be beat But it’s something that has To be fixed with their coaching their consistency and Their motivation to play together they let up on each other a lot and they play great 1st half then every let up in the Second half not sure what it is but honestly I Don’t think we will lose another game going forward things will be better mark my words
the punter acts as though he is in slow mode when he puts. he needs to get the punt off faster.
If the offense can run the ball and eat some clock, the defense wouldn’t be worn out by the second half.
