Tom Brady on Loss to Steelers: We All Have To Do A Better Job | Postgame Press Conference – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Ken Snedegar

Tom Brady knows what he’s talking about offensive it missed a lot of opportunities and they have to get better at that real quick real fast that’s what Tom Brady’s going to tell everybody this was pretty bad game get beat by Bad News Bears

    CJ

The Bucks are just not a good team. Brady should have retired !! A team beat you that is not that good. Brady stayed a year over his expiration date. SB is over for him😮

Chris Maile

Play calling was way too predictable. Stop running on
first down

    Kafka Films

    Agreed. Zero innovation

    Gabriel de Andrade

    Leftwich is terrible!
Steelers were with key DBs out due to injury and he keeps calling bs plays on the ground

    marcsogone

Exactly he been running that same play all season for 1-2 yards when do they realize it’s not working

Nick Rodriguez

I know the offense has been putrid but giving up a 3rd and 16 and a 3rd and 11 back to back is absolutely unacceptable

    Jonathan

@Mark Boice I hope so too

    Chris Ward

Same thing i said. Terrible defense. You give brady that ball back he will get it done

    Loomis

What’s more pathetic and worrying is that it wasn’t just this game dude. I’d be interested to know the stat but the Bucs defense has GOT to have allowed the most conversions on 3rd an 10 or more.

    Nick Rodriguez

@Chris Ward Brady is known for going down field to getting game winning field goals, defense didn’t even give him a chance with over 4 minutes left

    Jay H

Wasn’t on the offense tho…. but the did make bas play calls…. defense gotta set it up

Ed T

The entire team needs to step up!

FatZ

Please win this next game we need a win no more losses

    Russell Kwiatkowski

Bradys done washed up sorry old man

    Eloy Acuna

They’ll probably win the next game but they’re not beating the ravens.

    Sports Coat Junior

@Eloy Acuna Ravens lose by 3 or 7

    DuskThunder9

@Eloy Acuna They could easily beat the ravens

Sarosh

Leftwichs offence is too predictable.
Quit running the ball everytime on 1st down.
3rd down conversion is pathetic.
No creativity. No jet sweeps. Pure vanilla offence.
Bowles is too complacent. The offensive line is garbage. Defense is way overrated. Huge 3rd and long conversions allowed on a critical drive to Trubisky. That’s just shameful.

Brian Ross

They need to let the pass open up the run. They keep trying to run and 3 and out way too early

    Danny C

    yup waay to predictable

    Benny Pit

That’s what they’ve been trying with the play action, Lenny more often than not gets stuffed early tho.

Alexander B

The defense definitely needs to get the other team off the field on third and longs. The offense line has to be better. We can’t keep saying their back up back ups. That might be a fact but we have to figure that out, they need to get a better push for the running backs. I still believe this team will get it all together whether it’s with continuity or injured players returning; by Thanksgiving. Go Tommy and Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bill Buyers

Lol the Bucs offense can’t score 20 points against one of the worst Ds and you blame the Bucs D?

    Sports Coat Junior

    Right

    darrell smith

@Bill Buyers The Bucs D did a great job for most of the game but not at the end when it counted! We let them out of a couple of 3rd and longs that ultimately cost us a game we could have salvaged with a FG!

    Alexander B

@Bill Buyers Bucs D has been pretty good all year. I’m just talking about a couple of third and longs at the end of the game when we really needed it. Of course our offense definitely needs to be better. But even with the GOAT if our linemen can’t protect it’s going to make things really hard; which was always the concern going into the season. It doesn’t matter if we have Randy Moss or Jerry Rice out there if you don’t give Tommy the three seconds he needs to get the ball to the right spot and give the receivers enough time to get to the right spot it’s not gonna matter.

Elijah cruz

The bucs are gonna be okay they are still gonna win the division and get a home playoff game they are gonna be okay brady will get this team straight

Larry

To be fair. I’m almost certian that every team that plays against a brady led team tries their damnest to win, from players to coaches. Everyone wants to beat the goat. It’s like a tick on their resume.

    okieoiogh

To be even more fair, NFL teams go hard in every game. I’ve yet to see a game where players weren’t going to war

    Camri Jackson

Been saying this since last season they try there little heart out to win! When they should be trying this hard every game

    Bill Buyers

    lol ok

    Larry

@okieoiogh for sure. I’m not saying teams don’t try some games. I’m just saying, ya know as a competitive person. There’s always someone at work your trying to be better then, or do something better than them. It’s the same in anything. When it’s that person or that group of people you just find that inner boost to push you alittle further then usual. Instead of slowing down the last 5 minutes of the race even if your winning you muster all your strength to go full speed till the end just to be that much better than that 1 person.

Jake Martin

His body language says a lot. Arms folded the entire press conference. Also something is wrong with Brady he was missing almost every 15+ yard pass short.

    Batmanblue Darker

His divorce but out of respect people don’t bring that up

    Johnny Philon

You think about it for a minute, he has other issues outside of football. That is NOT an easy task to deal with. Ask yourself.”Could I?”. Probably not….end of story.

    Lucas Olivieri

probably a bit harder to focus when your marriage is falling apart

TheOmengod

I see a bad rhythm to the play calling. In crucial situations they need to have the ball in Brady’s hands. They should pass early and often and mix the run as they go. Too many three and outs, too many stops on 3rd and short, too many field goals, too many runs in the red zone, and not enough touchdowns. If you have first and goal from the 9-yard line, let Brady pass the ball three times!

Xervello

Do you notice when Tampa gets behind and they have to throw the ball, they score points? I hate the phrase “let him cook” but Arians let Tom cook. Throwing the ball helps get a consistent rhythm with the receivers. Throwing the ball successfully opens up the run game. If they continue this same offensive philosophy, THIS is what they’ll look like all year. Believe me, folks, I saw it Tom’s last year with the Patriots.

    rogerm4a1

Arians doesn’t call the plays he’s not the coach anymore 😂 this ain’t last year.

    Xervello

    @rogerm4a1 That’s the point, Einstein.

    rogerm4a1

    @Xervello thank you appreciate that.

    daniel Gould

Tom performed poorly his last year with the Patriots

    Xervello

@daniel Gould No he didn’t. Went 12-4 despite having a Tampa against Green Bay quality receiving corps. His stats were lower but his play was still great. But rosters win in the playoffs. NE’s were severely worse than the Titans and they lost.

Mohammad Rayan Bin Elias

We’re struggling right now but we can get there as long as we keep grinding and do our jobs correctly

    Todd Dudas

The receivers have to play more cohesively. Evans, and Fournette have played well. Godwin has to have less drops. Maybe split out the rookie rb White more often on pass plays. He’s a soon to be stud. Him and Otton will make plsys. Also, they need 3rd n 4th receivers to step up or go get another.

    Benny Pit

Tampa should make a move on CMC. Give up a 1st and lets make a deep run for Brady’s last ride.

iiMoNeY

I just wanna know why our play calling has been so terrible… why are our running backs getting so many targets? Why are we not pushing the ball down the field like the past few years? This offense was one of the best the past few years and all the weapons are still there minus Gronk. We always run the ball on first down it’s just so hard to watch man. I want to see that explosive offense that we have had since Brady arrived! Evans and Godwin should be getting at least 8 targets a game, show me some play action and take a shot down the sideline like come on man. I think I miss Bruce Arians

    DuskThunder9

    AB

    Benny Pit

B/c Brady is scared to death back there. It’s pretty clear Brady is covering up an injury somewhere(like he usually does) and he feels rushed on almost every darn play. They gotta protect him better, perhaps making a move on Christian Mccaffrey might be a good idea. Give up a 1st and a little more and bring the guy in, that would help Brady tremendously. Make the offer attractive enough and Carolina will deal within the division(especially knowing that Brady will be gone next season).

    555

@Gabby Griggs yes you may well be right. Things are never so cut and dry. Consider whether Tom would have been able to force Arians out if they hadn’t had Todd Bowles waiting in the wings

    555

@JP so you’re accusing me of reverse discrimination? I’m a bit confused I’m pointing out corporate realities in 2022

    wgooetrik

@bumbleboo twiddletoes defense was about the same under arians.

Troy Bermudez

What a great answer, look at points then find at why your performing that way) awesome answer. I think our coaching needs to step up.

    KING Cook

Naw our players need to step up, stop blaming coaches…Bowles said it best after this game,”Guys are living in fantasy land” that ain’t coaching…js

Daniel Ally

He needs his wife. ❤

Daniel Ally

He loved that QB sneak compliment at 1:59

    Lucas Olivieri

“becoming” his trademark though? That’s been one of his trademarks for centuries now lol

Matt Frye

As a Steeler fan I must say that Brady has never played that poorly against the Steelers. Hope brate is ok, the hit didn’t look that bad so let’s hope for the best, the one on Pickett didn’t look to bad either, but that the way it is sometimes

Sabrina

It’s a new team, Brady has personal matters going on, I’m not surprised at how this season has gone so far. But I think he still has the ability and capacity to rally the team to at least the playoffs.
