Keep playing like this Mariota, and the CBPOY award is yours to keep

    foxfire1112

@Blazerfan 23 No Im saying you have to come back from something to get the award

    SLOPPY MADDEN

@foxfire1112 Look at whos eligible anyone is. Derrick henry is and he came back already last year. Mariota is on the ballot

    DeosPraetorian

@foxfire1112 it is typically given to a player who shows perseverance in overcoming adversity from not being able to play the previous season, such as an injury, or for playing well in comparison to the previous year’s poor performance.

    Zues770

@foxfire1112 yeah, like being a bench player for the last 2 years. Tanehill won it for being cut by MIA and taking over the starting position in Tennessee and getting them to the playoffs

    Blazerfan 23

@foxfire1112 he is… he came from a different team where he came off the bench and earned the starting an job?

THE Jacob Watson

Great game for him today 💯

    Derek Gandlofini

13/14 for a 144 Rating and 2 TDs 0 picks yeah no kidding

Jarvase dundy

His best game of the season, he came through today

Monolith2001

This is exactly the kind of game I thought we would get when we got Mariota. Forget all that “Elite” talk. Mariota is a menace to defenses. He can make those throws if he has time. He is a plus athlete by QB standards and will make you pay if you ignore his ability to run. Arthur made him more efficient by giving him easier short to mid throws. First five weeks it was run game or 20+ yard routes.

@Today was Pretty yep, that 3-3 could have easily been a 5-1 if they were able to close games out.

    Jarvase dundy

    @Today was Pretty
Stop the lies, no it doesn’t. The Falcons run game is the reason why we have been grinding defenses out. All you have to do is look at the Aints, Seahawks, Browns, Bucs, 49ers games up see it. He had a great game yesterday. But you need to stop telling them lies on his style will grinding down defenses lol

    moe

@Jarvase dundy The threat of Mariota’s running is actually what has opened up the Falcons run game

    moe

@Jarvase dundy What the hell does that even mean “this was his best game outside of this game?” lol

Raidernation#34 Leonard Sr.

Great job for my guy MM, I knew he’d show people why he can be a starting QB, in the NFL. I know he’s a former Raider, but I support him. Best of luck on your next game

Russell Cabiles

Marcus mariota is Hawaii strong!!!!!!

Bruce

That 3rd and 13 conversion was crucial.

Eric42

Mariota will continue to improve as long as the coaching staff lets him play like himself

94hawaiijedi

Mariota can play any position. but he is one of the most humblest people in the NFL as well as selfless. Such a class act. He embodies the Aloha Spirit.

    Kenny Daiker

We were blessed to have him in oregon

rcng086

21pts against the 49ers defense is pretty good

    Jarvase dundy

Yeah, we only scored 28. Cause our that defense touchdown

Jay Hawk

People still forget he’s a top duel threat QB.

Chris B

One of the best humans in the league. I love seeing this guy have some success.

MEDITATION & SOUL FEEDING

I think if they keep this rpo 60% of Their plays and run it well I think atl will be the number one offense in the NFL

Bang Bang

Keep runnin those options, defenses are sleeping on them

Mariota’s a total athlete. If you watched him at Tennessee he made some amazing plays (blocking for runners, receiving, throwing and catching to himself- yeah that really happened) you knew he was still NFL caliber. He and the coaching staff had just lost confidence in each other. Glad he’s still in the league. In life it’s as much about being the right fit as to how good you are.
