    @Frank yeah, I just didn’t like any of the other options, as nobody was even talking about KOC at that time. For me it was Harbaugh or bust. But when they said KOC I was happy. Because the other finalist were not impressive to me

    @Anthony Hallberg Agreed. Harbaugh looked like the best option at the time. I recall some speculation about the Steelers may cutting Mike Tomlin loose and the Vikes going that route. I could have gotten behind that move.

I think the minimal number of penalties, 6 sacks and winning the turnover battle were huge. Not a spectacular game but clutch performance in many ways that led to this win. The defense gave up a lot of yards but holding the Dolphins to 16 points is pretty great

Being from Florida, I know it gets hot, like swamp and jungle hot. I felt it was kinda funny that the Dolphins were struggling with hydration more than the Viking’s players. The Dolphins looked gassed at the end and that allowed Cook the long run.
For once is was the Vikings keeping the pedal down, leaning and grinding, no turnovers, no major drive killing penalties. This had the makings of being a typical Vikings meltdown, where they lose on the road to a beatable team. This time, however, they didn’t fold. They actually are well coached. I have been yelling “Fire Donatell” since week 3, but he actually let them loose this game. I hope Donatell grows and learns from this. It was a great team win.
