what about getting Commanders CB William Jackson III? he’s looked to be traded.

Michael Laughlin

they stand with 5 other teams with the same record for now id love to see them pick up the pieces and see this season on a positive note is all we can ask for 🤷‍♂️👍

Scott Smith

I’ll say it right now, if the Lions had Matt Prater they would be 4-1 and not 1–4.

    Timothy Drummond

I’ve got to agree. We would be more confident to take the “easy” points and we wouldn’t miss as many and give short Fields and make it harder on our defense. Injuries have killed us too bc we we Don’t have depth. Hopefully we get enough key pieces back post bye that we look like week one again and are at least competitive and not the crap we showed the last two games 🙁

    No One

Yeah extremely horrible decision to let him go. Not sure if that would change Campbell’s 4th down mentality though.

John Thrasher

The lions offense moved the ball against the Pats, they just didn’t score. Why not hire a real place kicker and use him instead of going 0 for 6 on 4th down tries and being stoned? The game is a lot different if take the field goals when you get down there rather than coming away with zip.

    Timothy Drummond

Yeah that was frustrating especially when we were Super close so it wasn’t a long kick at least. 50+ I understand not wanting to kick…

GOD LOVES YOU :)

Done caring til they start winning

    Car Ramrod82

Been waiting for them to win my whole life. Especially a playoff game🤨

Lunch Munny

Can’t wait to draft a stud kicker

Dan

Blah, blah, blah… Keep polishing that turd. Dan Campbell needs to get better at in game management. AG needs to change his scheme and coach like his job depends on it.

Isaiah Lucas

I just want to ask where is Michael brockers and Hutchinson at. I haven’t been noticing a lot of production from them

India Supports Trump WWG1WGA

All I gotta say is, I applaud her for not wearing makeup. She looks great without it!

    Car Ramrod82

    She’s wearing makeup

Tim Dawkins

Stop points.

Bobbys_Floatin

If the def & off can click together at the same time every game they would be good but it’s one or the other with them

Virgil Green

Constructive. Thx

Alan Holmes

Belicheck out coached them plain and simple. He figured out what they liked to do and were good at and took them out of it. They didn’t respond with adjustments to counter what he was doing. Same formula other teams are going to use. 1-7 to 1-9 coming up fast unless they can pull a rabbit 🐇 out of the hat

kretles

Is Dan Campbell biting his own kneecaps, falling down, getting up and biting his kneecaps again?

Count Raxxula

I honestly forgot the Lions were even a team until right now.

D Price

yeah but performing in practice and in the game are two different things Riley was the choice, and I was surprised that he lost it.. sucks. I get the leg strength thing, but boy he was nearly automatic last season.

Itinerant Patriot

What happened was the Pats exposed Goff’s weakness. He doesn’t like being pressured and when he is he panics. I know a lot of people moaned about Stafford but no one could question his toughness. He’d stand in there and take a licking. Goff won’t. He needs a clean pocket and when he doesn’t get it he’s lost. That and Campbell’s stubbornness cost em the game.

The thing is, I don’t think either of those deficiencies are correctable. Campbell is the kind of guy who would bite off his leg just to prove he could walk without it and Goff needs everything to go right to be effective. Smart coaches know when they need to change their ways and good QB’s overcome adversity. I don’t see those traits in either of these guys. Sure, the defense is a mess but that doesn’t excuse Campbell’s lack of judgment. Unless he stops giving opponents these short fields week after week they are going to continue losing. And please, spare me blabbering locker room crap about how he went with his gut. Why not consult a Ouija Board or an astrologer Dan?

Look, I like the guy. He’s humorous, he seems like a decent person, and I believe he is sincere about wanting to turn things around here. But I could say the same about a lot of my friends and I wouldn’t want any of them coaching the team. It’s not that the team is losing, it’s how they are losing. The thing is, will Sheila be willing to eat four years worth of his contract and move on to a guy who coaches with his head not his heart? Probably not. That’s hardly a Ford play. So I imagine it’s at least two more years of yeah man’s and gut feelings.

Oh well. On to the bye week I suppose. Let’s hope nobody slips on a banana peel between now and Dallas.
