I’m surprise more coaches don’t speak their mind in that regard. The media, the fanbase, analysts…95% of them don’t know as much as the coach knows about their team. Damn right he’s gonna be pissed.
@Zein right but he was fined because Ron Rivera believed that those comments were detrimental to the franchise. These comments from Ron Rivera are just as detrimental and damaging to the franchise. Also if we are being honest….we all know that del rio was fined because he mouthed off the “wrong” opinions, his opinions were different than those of Rivera

@DubstepPhene82 exactly which is totally subjective. Del Rio thinks Jan 6 was “just a dust up” which is an opinion. Rivera thinks Jan 6 is “domestic terrorism” which is an opinion. Ipso facto Del Rio got fined for having a different opinion than Rivera

I think analysts need to realize defenses are dominating across the board this season. O-lines are getting beat across the board.
I thought it was just me I don’t really look at numbers often but eye test says defenses have really made a leap this season

Dude he’s the worst coach in the league y’all can have him back he’s a losing coach and doesn’t do the small things right..he should’ve been gone last year ..he’s stubborn AF and stuck in his old ways they’re awful him and Scott Turner..Ron only has 3 winning seasons in a 12 years as a Head coach.
He’s a defense guy, he had Scott turner his last year in Charlotte and it wasn’t good. Not sure how many coaches are gonna wanna coach their with dan Snyder, but maybe someone will try.
He did a great job defending Carson, who is one of the most inconsistent QB’s in the league.

For the 100th time: Rivera meant “stability at QB over many seasons and to build a team around” not “Carson Wentz stinks.” But the media loves to take things out of context.

As a Panthers fan I think Ron could have done a lil more to help Cam but overall I really miss the dude and his grittiness as a coach and leader
