he’s actually hurt this week
Rashad Fenton is a problem. He either gets beat badly, or it’s a PI. Every. Single. Time. Diggs and Davis are going to eat if he gets anywhere near them in coverage.
I think Rashad would be in a better position for success if he was the 3rd safety in dime packages.

@fwdfdfsa111133 Maybe he would be better in that position, helping the LBs cover the middle of the field on short routes. I just don’t want to see him in man coverage on the outside anymore. They aren’t close penalties either, they’re egregious PIs and holds. It’s bad news.
I think he was getting phased out before McDuffie got hurt, so we’ll see
Wish Ward was still on the team. He out there in San Francisco doing good. He was making plays when he was in KC. These other DBS are suspect

Really! Sneed is holding down his end. Fenton had a bad game on Monday. Watson (rookie) has been solid and is getting better. Williams literally forced Adams to collide with Renfrow which ended the game. Ward was really good the last 2 years, but wasn’t flashy and didn’t generate many turnovers, I think he had 2 INTs in 4 years. Maybe that is because teams threw away from him often, but not likely, he was targeted a lot. His man-to-man skills improved significantly, but not to a level that the Chiefs should have invested the money he is earning in SF for. Chiefs don’t tend to pay CBs, but of this current group right now, I hope they put some good money in front of Sneed in the near future. In this last game, if you take away 2 plays, the DBs played pretty solidly, unfortunately those 2 plays were TDs.

Run game defense need to be way better from last game. Jacobs ran through our guys. Smh
