DBs need to play aggressive at the line and stop playing 7-12 yards off almost every play. it could be 3rd&8 and you see the DBs playing 10yards off. we have the players to play press coverage but JB calling soft zone coverage ALL THE TIME.
Why did we go after the fastest guys we could get and then give them a 10 yard cushion? Shouldn’t we be pressing their receivers at the line to get them out of sync. We’re fast enough to cover anyone man to man, and thats what we got them for. We’re not using them for what they’re best at. In the words the great Sebastian Maniscalco….. “Why would you do that?!”
