Came out of a small school, didnt get much national attention. Didnt necessarily show a bunch of promise on college tape as a CB because he was learning the position converting from WR. Quite litterally the perfect candidate for Pete’s CB molding ability being essentially a physically gifted clean slate. One thing is for certain Pete can develop top tier CB’s at the professional level.
Mainly because he converted from WR to CB so late in his career

If you’re former wide receiver, you can read what WR doing and what is the play based on WR movement. Combine with gifted physical ability, and ability to read the QB back eyes, he is solid corner for Seahawk, what a steal, remind me of Richard Sherman.

Wanted Woolen on my Steelers since I saw his 40. Some guys you just can’t pass up and somehow teams let him fall to the 5th.
Obviously it’s a tough battle since voters prefer Pass Rushers to Corners/Safeties but if he leads the league in INT and has a passer rating allowed in the top 3, and Hutch doesn’t get like a dozen sacks then yeah Woolen can probably win. It is an uphill battle though
