@Persistently Pathetic you don’t understand why. The problem was and has been play calling. They moved the ball extremely well, 2 guys dropped tds. 2guys on different drives dropped 1st downs inside the 5 and 10yd line. Well, they were the same 2guys but that was 4 drives that ended in zero points. The 2 missed fgs were on different drives as well. That’s 37pts that didn’t happen. On top of all this, the oc decided to stop throwing the ball and run it for nothing. You have to figure in that those scores play out way different and momentum changes happen. Not saying put would have won, but I am saying that kp just threw for 350yds in his 1st start and left way over 50yds on the field in dropped passes. He set an all time record for completed passes by a rookie 1st start. He carved up the bills d. The other issue is pit was playing 30+ snaps in the secondary from 3 guys that were on the practice squad or signed off of another teams practice squad 2 to 3 days before the game.
Dude: the Steelers’ strengths (even without TJ) are mostly on D & the refs won’t allow them to _play_ good D against The Relic. Tomlin will have to tell them to play without sacking him.
The Bucs’ D has kept one of The Most Anemic Offences in games all year. They’re *stronger.*

Imagine having to start your first game against the best team in the afc then have to go against the buccaneers the next week. The football gods have dealt Kenny a rough hand of cards to deal with.
No one can say Pickett wasn’t battle tested. He can either grow from it or fold, and I don’t see him folding.
KP8 will have his day against these teams (Especially the Bills) again.

Note that the Bucs lack three starters on the offensive line, not much problem. The Rams are missing three on their line, and their offense is in shambles. Everyone talks about the Rams poor performance because of their offensive line. No one talks about Tampa’s backups doing a decent job. Funny what the talking media people talk about – blame for one team, silence on the other. Bucs have maxed out at 21 points this year. These picks are fantasy between 27 and 38 points. I hope they can score that but with the play calling the Bucs are doing in the second half if they are up by a couple of touchdowns, I doubt it will happen.
The Bucs are slowly getting back healthy. We know how this one goes. That defense is gonna have a field day with the Steelers. I’m not saying the steelers won’t give them competition but seeing how last week went for them it’s kinda expected. With brady getting his weapons back as the weeks go on they’ll be more difficult to deal with. Pickett and Pickens gotta dial it in. I’d say 31-19 Bucs
