Job will done boyz go colts

Lee33

Dude needs to stop turning the ball over! But at the same time, I feel bad for him for having to play behind our terrible oline.

    stumbino

    Anything but Matt.

    stumbino

They need to think of the future at this point. I would like to see him at least have a shot at starting.

    BL

Oline cannot be blamed for Ryan

    Slimkidd730

Coming from a Falcons fan, its not him overall. ITs your OL. You can’t expect a 37 year old QB, who was already taking a beating the past 5 years to then go to you guys with way LESS WEAPONS and not get the case of the QB Yips. You either have to improve your OL play OR pray Ballard makes a trade or your WR corps turns up to stop being one of the worst. Can’t have it both ways. POOR OL PLAY plus MEDIOCRE WRs Corps. Can’t expect Ryan to save you in both regards at 37

    stumbino

@Slimkidd730 Peyton was 40 when he won his last Superbowl. Both Superbowls he won, he did it with a bad o line. Peyton made the o line look good. As fans we need to quit putting blame elsewhere when it’s the QB. Last year oline was good this year they aren’t.

Leonel Franco

Alec Pierce coming along man, geez.

    Dr. Bryce Banner

    hes such a playmaker!

    ZoSo

So is Pittman. Matt Ryan should use him more

    Forsythe

@ZoSo not worried Pittman had one of the best corners on him

    Slimkidd730

@ZoSo Use him more? Ryan didn’t have a problem using Kyle Pitts last year. ITs maybe your OL should stop being top 5 worst and get back to being no. 1 and give him some time. Colts have mediocre weapons so it is what it is.

    Eddie Fannin

Absolutely, can’t wait till pierce finally gets his first TD, for a rookie,he’s coming along pretty good.and Matt, get rid of the ball quicker would ya,the way your going you won’t make it twards the end of the season.

Daily Gifts

Matt, until the line is solid… to win, the OC must employ additional block protection on every play, even a hard chip. Keep working. E

scott campbell

Our offense was terrible tonight, but I put it mostly on the O-line. Yes, Ryan did have some bad picks, but he also made some really great plays. Plus remember that this line can’t block for Ryan at all. If we can just find some way to fix our O-line, we will be set. Thankfully we have 1.5 weeks to prepare for a home game against the Jags that could be for 1st place in the division. Our O-line must get way better before then.

    DaReal1

@scott campbell In both of the colts wins , his stats might not have been great but he’s made plays in crucial moments but yes you guys O-Line is terrible , and the run game hasn’t looked the best . Hopefully y’all can work out the kinks .

    Lefty Stomper

I dont think the line played as poorly as they have, but they weren’t great either. I still think that Ryan needs to sit down, and let’s give Sam or Nick a shot. At least they have the arm strength to throw it over the d-line. He looked like an old man out there today, and he fumbled 2 more times. He has had plenty of chances!

    Chris Downes

@Lefty Stomper yes cause atleast Sam is mobile!!!

    Slimkidd730

My boy is a Colts fan and I just don’t get it, how do you guys go from the best OL in the league to top 5 worst?

    Trader Joe Schmo

    Well put

Mike D

Ryan made a couple of bad throws tonight but good lord can they block? This guy is getting hit on almost every play

    Jacob Stover

As a falcons fan he can’t move bro he’s stiff he sits in the middle and when he tries to escape it’s hilarious because he’s so slow and stiff thank you colts🖤❤️

    Mike D

@Jacob Stover yeah he’s not mobile but Philip rivers wasn’t either and they won 11 games with him. The difference was they kept Rivers up right.

    Jacob Stover

@Mike D rivers knew how to move my man and break tackles like Big Ben when ryan sees pressure he folds

Joaquin Fernandez

Courageous game by Ryan, hope he makes it through this season safely.

    scano6839

For the Colts sake, I hope they don’t let the money he’s being paid prevent them from letting whoever the backup is get a chance

    DIEGO ALAN CASANOVA

More like congrats to alec pierce, the only great offense player tonight

GreenX23

Ryan is like Top 5 in Combacks wins all Time 🧊 so in the 4th it’s too EASY

GreenX23

Ryan is Currently in 4th QUARTER COmE BACKs !! ALL TIME

Tied With DREW BREES (36)

DukeQuack

Bro protect matt ryan. What the hell happened to having like a league best OLine. Protect ya boy.

    Justin Wittmer-Mikesell

    @scano6839 lol good point

    Lee33

@scano6839 And when they gave him a clean pocket none of the WR could get open. If you see that replay of the interception, every WR was covered.

    scano6839

@Lee33 in that play I would agree but he still threw it. If you look at every completed pass I really can’t name more than a handful of them where it was a great ball. Pierce is doing great adjusting but he’s requiring gymnastics if the pass is beyond 10 yards and it’s sad to watch

    Lee33

@scano6839 He should have threw it away I agree. Pierce has to adjust because oline not giving him anytime to throw the ball. they tipped the ball that Ryan threw to Pierce where Pierce had to adjust.

    Slimkidd730

@scano6839 You want to cherry pick ONE PLAY or talk about the obvious everyone sees since week1. Ryan can get by with bad OL play if he has the weapons like he did in ATL. Problem with the Colts is they don’t have a top WR corps and everyone knew this coming in but no on expected your OL to go from top OL to top 5 worst. Its your Ol AND MEDIOCRE WEAPONS. Not Ryan

Scruff D0g

If the O-Lime can just block Ryan.

Zack Gurske

In fantasy this week I put everything to do with the Colts and Broncos on the bench. Except for Alec Pierce. Man’s has earned his first tuddy you better go out there and get it for him!

Dylan Jones

At the end of the day, dude almost was sacked double digits during this game. Whether we want to admit it or not, games like this are proof that we are in a better place than with ol’ Carl Wentz.

That being said, our o-line needs to figure it aht.

    KingKracker

for sure! Wentz was bad when it counted, ryan is great when it counts. Matt is very gutty

KingKracker

Matt in the 4th and OT was a Stud. he got us down the field with his Will. along with Pierce.

    Erick

Matt Ryan is as clutch as anyone in final drives and OT.

    your mother

One of these teams will bounce back and be dangerous in the playoffs, either broncos or colts. Ryan and Wilson are too talented of QBs. Great defenses.

    Slimkidd730

Well he is top 5 in 4th quarter comebacks. BUt Colts OL has to play way better.

Cole Ray

Love this offense ! We need a long week to keep jelling Matt’s playing good he just has a defender eating his lunch every time this offense line is trash

PEACE AND LOVE

Ryan has had a good career, but come on…… Colts blamed Wentz for everything last season. Dude threw 7 interceptions in 17 games. Ryan already has 7 INTs in 5, and his YPG are abysmal. Not to mention he has 10 FUMBLES on the year already…. How did the colts trade up?

Derrick Johnson

I’m proud of Matt for bringing the Colts straight down field & in OT TO GIVE A COLTS A CHANCE TO WIN.

    stumbino

Matt fumbles too much, no thanks.

RainyDayWeather

Matt Ryan fit a little too well in that TNF post game cast. Put a suit on him and this guy has a serious career in broadcasting after these next two seasons

Felix Francis

What’s up with not securing the ball and holding onto it? I know the o-line is the worst but Ryan definitely deserves blame for the fumbles. I don’t know if he had the same problem with the Falcons last year.

Dan

He sure does interview well. The rest of it has been painful
