People are missing the direction that the defense is not making tackles. That default goes to the middle linebackers not the defensive line. In a 3-4 defense the primary function of the defensive line is to keep the offensive lineman tied up so that the linebackers can make the tackles. Josie Jewel and griffith are not getting it done and we’re seeing the same thing we saw in the preseason Sloppy tackling, arm tackling, and bad technical tackling. If they’re going to do a better job of can stopping the Run game Josie Jewel and Griffith need to step up.
