@Ricky Ponzie stefanski wasted all timeouts before the 2 min warning. I could tell they were going to lose right after that. That INT was exactly what everyone was bitching about Baker playing “Hero ball” ¯_(ツ)_/¯ This team still hasn’t soildified coming over average yet, they still lack depth.
Agree, never thought Mediocre Mayfield was good. Look at him with Carolina. He’s still no good. Browns should have never ever drafted him after he was arrested running from the cops. That was enough to show his state of mind. That’s a mind you don’t want to be the QB of your team. It was a terrible decision.
I understand this “one week at a time” ideology but I am tired of it. I had the Browns down as being 3 – 1 at this point losing this game only. NFL teams now have the plan as to how to approach the Browns Offense with JB as the QB. It is going to take some really good coaching to get this team to a 6 -5 rank before DW returns. We also saw clearly how important MG is to the teams defense.

To be fair they did run the ball a good amount…over 30 carries for close to 200 yards I believe. It’s not like they DIDNT run the ball. Atlanta just ran the ball better lol thats why they won. Arthur Smith himself probably could have ran for 200 yards against our front 7

You’re right he is but he isn’t right now. He’s the Brown’s starting QB. He needs to have that mentality. He can not keep throwing game ending interceptions or incomplete passes when it’s most critical. Yes, our defense is soft. There’s also a lot of other problems.
Jacoby is playing well for a backup QB. Our defense is not playing well at all. We can’t depend on them to stop anyone. That places a lot of pressure on you backup QB. There were times defensively we had 8 men in the box. We still couldn’t stop the run. Our run fits are awful and we stay blocked. People were saying before the season that our DB’S were the strength of the team but they can’t play cover 6 in a obvious pass situation. Awful head coaching decisions and a leaky defense is the reason for our 2 losses.
I’m not sure what your watching but the defense had a turnover your not giving them credit for an we were down three key starters on the d-line scheme wasn’t the problem we had no talent in the trenches u asking rookies an undrafted guys to take over the game not gonna happen
The same person that git the interception (Denzel Ward) failed to play cover 6 correctly and gave up a 45 yard reception during the Falcons last drive. Add insult to injury he also was called for a face mack penalty. All I am saying is that we are undisciplined on defense. We don’t execute during crucial times of the game. The defense has cost us games. Browns gave up 402 yards of offense to the Jets. The gave up 333 yards of offense to the Falcons. Falcons had 205 yards rushing. Both of these games could have been won with a stop on defense and it never happened. Those excuses that this person or that person wasn’t playing doesn’t matter. All the Browns defense had to do was get one stop in each game.

I never seen a team run 10 plays for 75 yards and they’re all running plays. Smh. I was at the game like are you serious no pass plays? How can a team have more running yard then passing yards and you mean to tell me as a defensive coordinator you can’t stop the run? Smh. This dude doing all he can. Hard to win when you have blown coverages in the secondary EVERY game. Glad we are seeing how bad Joe Woods is finally. I would have fired him after the first year, but if this org keeps Woods after this year…then Stefanski needs to be on the hot seat with him.

Jacoby, know you care & wanna win but you’ve got to stay calm & cool. Don’t fizzle & flare up when pressure is applied. You’ve been in the league long enough to have gained the confidence to do what’s asked of you. Not gonna nit pick. You know what needs to improve. Really didn’t like the hype last week. Felt it put more pressure on you to play up to the hype. All you have to do is keep this ship a float & headed in the right direction.
Good job Kevin. Going for it on 4th down on that first drive instead of kicking a field goal. You don’t have to have a college education to know that you have to get points out of that drive. I bet Kevin’ loves to play cards
Statistics say to go for it on that. The playcall didn’t work. Is what it is. There were dozens more scoring opportunities that were bigger F-ups than that.

He played good all season imo no pre season reaps really. This team is legit should or could be 4-0 right now tbh
